Nice pic

I saw a battle figure Gardevoir added as an entry on the wiki, is there a pic of the pose out there? Since recent battle figures like Gallade, Armarouge, Ceruledge got made as both selects and battle features I'm guessing select Gardevoir is also around the corner.

Might've been a target stock discovery or something, so no pics.

August's checklist update. The only new stuff that came out last month was a new wave of 2" singles. Distribution continues to be unbelievable bad :(

>>11891339
Listings for a 4.5" Gardevoir, the Machoke/Spoink/Pachirisu wave, and a future wave with 3" Alolan Raichu were found in the Gamestop system for release this Fall if those dates are correct

I import whole cases from Plaza Japan but there might be other sites to get them as well. I usually try to sell the extras online i don't want which evens out and basically gets my money back and then some.

Theres 24 in a box; usually 12 different Pokemon or characters in a set and then most pokemon have one or 2 extras in the box.

>>11894420
these anons are insane lol
Blokees Pokemon are just fine. They look great and are relatively easy to assemble. I've seen a few where the joints or other pieces don't stay together very well but nothing on the scale of the sp//dr I got that does not stay together at all, and falls apart if you look at it wrong. It probably just depends on the character and how many pieces there are.
>>
>>11894221
I've been wanting a regular version of the Delibird but it keep getting pushed to the back by newer 3" figures each update.
>>
>>11894926
I think the checklist guy just pushes it back and places others before it once they have concrete listings. Delibird in reg paint is probably just an assumption that it will come eventually just like the Greavard did after the glossy one.
>>
>>11894375

Its an even wider margin. The 4" WCT was like $9 when it came out and the Figma was about $60
>>

>Good thing they don't come on sprues, retard. They literally just need to be popped together.
thank you for clarifying that they're toys
>>
>>11895244
Even Select, which is supposed to be Jazwares' "premium" Pokémon line, is absolute garbage. I wouldn't even give Scizor or Incineroar to a kid, it's so fragile.
>>
Bandai Namco has a shit ton of exclusive Pokemon merch that can't be bought anywhere but through their crane games. Has anyone found a workaround their geoblock for their namco online crane app and website and a way to get a Japanese number? These crane game exclusives, Pokemon or not, are a pain in the ass to buy since the markup is crazy. Like 500% crazy
>>
>>11895832
ebay, pkmncollectors, or maybe just go to Japan because it's nice there
>>
When are we getting more pokegirl figmas?
>>
>>11895832
Maybe try Yahoo Japan Auctions or Mandarake to see if people are selling their prizes.
>>
>>11895548
If fragility is an issue, why do you call model kits like Blokees "toys?" They're not sturdy enough to be playable.
>>
>>11895996
Clarify if you ever actually touched a Pokemon Blokees or are only talking from either your ass or your own experience with the -actual- model kit blokees such as Marvel?
Because picrel is not how Pokemon does things.
>>
>>11895972
We didn't even get the obvious coomer baits of SV and ZA. So NO
>>
Scalpers have pics of Golurk already. I hope this has shoulder ball joints or it's going to end up as yet another useless toy in the shelf that people use as a figma accessory
>>
>>11896187
Scalpers? This has been released in my country for a couple months now. I saw it also went in stock for Americans at Gamestops already too.

There are no shoulder ball joints. People have already reviewed it and the articulations are barely there. The pose it has in the box is only what it can do and the elbows apparently dont move much either.
>>
>>11896190

Not sure if I'm too late but if I find one in stock somewhere, does anyone recommend the Jazwares Select Rayquaza?

One part of me thinks it's cool since I've always liked him but the other part of me feels as though he isn't a figure that I really need to have and that I'd be better off in waiting until Blokees takes a crack at him or some of my other favorite mons.

I like that the tail is not segmented that shit never does any good except making the sculpt look awful
>>
>>11897808
Couldn't disagree more. Charizard looks and functions spectacularly with a segmented tail and d-arts Mewtwo looked great. It's okay for toys to look like toys instead of being as close to their fictional counterparts as possible and the lack of segments may look "smoother" but also give it less posing options as well as making it look cheaper.
>>
>>11897625
This is looking like it won't stand on it's own very well like the Greninja. Using a stand isn't the worst but the one they give is also like a diorama piece. The tail is done in a way where you can't really use it to support standing and also makes it back heavy.

There are these little pokemon centre (maybe rement?) figures, kinda small enough for figmas.
>>
>>11897823
With my D-Arts, I always just lowered his tail to act as a third leg.
>>
>>11897625
I looked at the other pics and didn't see a straight forward face. If it's always looking to the side that kinda sucks.
>>
>>11897854
Yeah, looks like just perma-sideglance and closed eyes.
>>
>>11897825
I wouldn't even know where to begin looking for those. I got most of my figs from walmart, and two from ebay.
>>
wow so many people here have the figma
>>
>>11897625
I predict it'll be the same size as the VAH. Can't believe that line flopped, or at least why they just didnt make their Megas instead

>>11897854

It does have a neutral face. All this for $35-$40. Good shit
>>
>>11898096
Easy but
I do want an armor version though
>>
>>11898096
Not bad, but the feet being a single piece and requiring props is not perfect. The Pokken VAH did it a bit better. Still, a fairly affordable and accessory-rich release.

13.8cm without the base.
>>
>>11897595
>Never wait for something better
I think I'll take my chances. Aside from Blokees feeling so much more high-quality, the fact that Rayquaza's curved segments are stuck that way instead of having ball joints makes it look like it has the illusion of dynamic articulation rather than actually having it.

Basically the same size that the SHF. It's going to scale like this
>>
>>11897816
Update: I didn't realize that you can still get a lot of poses as although the tail seems less segmented than D-arts, it seems as though there's still more articulation than Jazwares so that's cool.

They really didn't try with scale in the Figuarts line, did they? Considering how amazing the Yu Gi Oh figures have been, you'd think Bandai would give Pokémon another try.
>>
>>11899496
They made Pikachu for some reason, remember?
>>
>>11899496
You'd think this would be the year to do it with it being the 30th. Their attempt at Digimon again seems to have failed so maybe they don't want to give Pokemon another go at the moment.

>>
>>11900260
>>11900268
If you have the means to do so, I don't know how you wouldn't go for Blokees over Jazwares as the former is both higher-quality AND affordable.

I know there's a guy in these threads always shitting on Jazwares and it makes people feel like he comes across as just another schizo but the line does have serious qc issues (lousy paint jobs, fragile joints, warped pieces, etc.) that people report over Reddit and YouTube as well.

Sadly, it seems like Jazwares has a monopoly on Pokémon figures in the west so it's an uphill battle for Blokees in addition to all the China shit they're dealing with but I'll hold out in the hopes that they drop an earth-shattering bombshell in announcing a shitload of new mons in the event they get permission to sell beyond their borders.
>>
>>11900342
>it seems like Jazwares has a monopoly on Pokémon figures in the west
Well yes. Thats what paying millions of dollars for the master toy license gives you. Better positioning in those regions and limited competition in the same categories you're making products in

Essentially, that they have to get the permission of the license holder (e.g. presumably Nintendo, Game Freak and/or the 'Pokemon Company') for the territory outside China and SE Asia. Plus, whomever does have the rights to make toys and has world-wide, probably raises 'concerns.'
Just as their are some businesses willing to re-sell the non-licensed stock in North America (BBTS as one example), there should be something in the EU.
And if there isn't, it's because your countries are OLD and lame Boomer minded establishments.
