Savage Crucible knights will be first dropping at Titan's Toy Expo, with an online standard release sometime after. Two versions, main guy with multiple heads, more weapons and an army builder style more basic one.
Sir Kassian is the named one with heads at $65 and this one is Knight of the Bearing for $50.
I also just realised the names are literally on the pictures, I wasn't paying attention. Unrelated, but do any of you guys have the Nottaa Dao Ma figure? I regret not ordering him and I found him in stock, but he's expensive and I can't find any proper detailed reviews showing articulation. If any of you do, does he have good torso range and how are his butterfly joints if he has them?
>>11891832>>11891833>>11891835I just saw these and came here to post them.Sorry, correction.I just saw these and came.
>>11891833I don't want to say I don't like it, but something about it doesn't sit right with me, which is basically par for the course with Savage Crucible.
>>11891839Sorry, I was making coffee and thought I may as well post em.>>11891852I'm not a big knight guy, but I think these are pretty nice, a lot of detail on the armour, it's pretty impressive.
>>11891852>but something about it doesn't sit right with meThe only thing that isn't sitting right with me is that this is yet another newly tooled figure that will be available before the wave 3 Pirahnoids that I paid for in their Kickstarter 3 and a half years ago.
>>11891855>I'm not a big knight guy, but I think these are pretty nice, a lot of detail on the armour, it's pretty impresIt's just a lot of little nits. I think a different helm would largely turn it around for me, though.I know Mythic Legions run on the hydrocephalic end of things, but maybe one of their pig snout/hounskull bascinets would work? *shrug*
>>11891857Yeah, that's fucking bullshit.
>>11891832I already own too many expensive knights but this guy looks great. What kind of scale are they? Comparable to anything?
>>11891871Taller end of 6" scale.
4H first drop off the month wasn't bad. Got a Standard Head Hunter before he sold out
>>11891832>>11891833Neat, not the best looking knight, but I'll probably grab this set. The weapons alone is worth the pick up.>>11891835While I like the concept of a deluxe figure with tons of gear and a basic figure who can use some of it.....$50 for the cheaper figure is way too much. The 4H were already pushing it with $30 army builders, a $50 builder is crazy.>>11891981I must have missed all the good stuff, all I saw were Grim, Holiday and the usual shelfwarmers they've had in stock forever. I only ended up grabbing a Grim as I been waiting on him for a while. Kinda tempted by Holiday, but I might grab then Con version from BBTS. After shipping, it's only a $15 difference, and the alt head alone covers that. Curious as to what other drops they have planned. I can see them dropping some Ashes figures, maybe even the SDCC figures, but both of those options feel far fetched if I'm being honest.
>>11889242The pink SC skeleton was darker than the pictures led me to believe, but it wasn't an issue. Trying to decide if I want another Keepgoing or a Fwoosh/OMF skellie for custom purposes.
>>11892079Boners
>>11891833>>11891835Nice, but I wish they would do some female figures.
>>11892076>I can see them dropping some Ashes figuresThat's a real long shot. They haven't even put All Star 6 or Rising Sons up on their store yet. If anything, it will be the leftover Clavians, Bothars, Ignatius and Gorthokks from AS6, since I'm pretty sure all the "new" figures from that wave have been mostly selling out at their con appearances. Maybe the skeleton head pack. That's still sitting at BBTS, so I imagine 4h still have stock of that.Other than that, maybe last year's retailer exclusives like Undead of Vikenfell and whatever the Cosmic one was. Maybe the Graveyard Skeleton 4 pack? I don't think they have ever been sold as in stock on their store.
>>11892130Wimmen don't sell.
AI slop of Svafa by Mythborn x Fury Toys and first proper look. There will be three versions with completey swappable armour, so you can mix and match if you buy all three. Judging by their earlier previews I assume some of the swappable armour will actually be limbs as well, as it looked like some of the joints were painted too, but we'll have to see if they changed that idea.
>>11892686
>>11892687There will be a three pack, could be a good way to get some shaded blank Fury bodies as well.
I ended up canceling my BBTS pre-order for the frost ogre and getting him for 5 bucks cheaper on Mercari. He looks good with my mammoths... though elbow articulation sucks ass which makes it tough for him to hold the calf. I dont think I'll get another frost ogre until they update the joint, or if they do a female so that I can have an old man mammoth herder and his elderly wife. I do wanna get more Roman troops though cause 2 just isnt enough to menace a giant. I might drop another 200 on a second mammoth so that he has a bull, a cow, and a calf.
>>11892709
>>11892687>>11892688Snu snu
>>11892709>>11892712>Prooooh!!! :DDD
>>11892709>>11892712Hell yeah
I do wish he came with more hands
>>11892709>5 bucks cheaperDidn't you ultimately end up paying more in shipping?
>>11891833>>11891835Very nice, especially for the amount of weapons you get, but even given a small production run, overpriced by about $25-$40. The head sculpts really add that much and don't certainly add $15 in value to the figure. $30 and $40 would be more appropriate.
>>11892686Is this the one which was planning to release a sexy version of Wonder Woman?
>>11893166Yeah. Like I said, supposed to be three versions with different armour sets that allows for 27 combinations they say, so I assume that's one hair/head and three armour sections per character.
>>11892709Very nice anon. Someone needs to make a cyclops so you can do a real Oddessey.
>>11893125Nope, even after shipping it was still $1.36 cheaper than Big Bad.>>11893172Mythic Legions has cyclops, right? I thought I saw one on Aliexpress. If they update the articulation I'll definitely grab one. These 9-inch big boys scale really well with my mostly 1/18 knights and romans. Though I will also need someone to make more Greek troops. I know Boss Fight has a couple, but they dont have the variety of the Joytoy Roman Gladiators and Legionaries.
>>11893180They have four Cyclops, the giant troll ones, in yellow or blue (alt head) and two Ogre versions, the original blue one (last of the original hip engineering) and the green Ogre Builder II as an alt head. But yes, the Ogre's arm range is a bit lacking, the design came from before the massive sculpt updates and being less frequently used, the Ogres haven't really been updated.
I missed it, but apparently the newest wave of Epic Hacks finally went up for preorder some time in the last couple of days. Due out 2nd QTR of next year.
>>11893469And they also have a Spartan in the wave, which is a good sign that they might do some of the other Vitruvian designs in 1:12. I would love if they did their Gorgons in this scale.
So has Savage talked about reissues? I'm only now getting into knights and such and elric is cool but people can think again with those after market prices
>>11893809They've been pretty vocal about not doing reissues, especially that particular iteration of Elric.
>>11893831Always sort of baffles me how a lot of these indie companies value artificial fomo over making money with the shit people are proven to want.Maybe I am just retarded but that sounds like it would only work in the short term while primarily befitting scalpers and making the line poison to newcomers.
>>11893836The figures are made to order, scalpers do not benefit from that system because part of scalping is artificially making a widely released item more rare. With Elric there could be specific licensing restrictions that prevent subsequent runs or agreements that force them to move on to other characters, but it's not fomo nor does it have anything to do with secondary markets. More Moorcock figures, and different versions of Elric are coming, you as a collector just need to pay attention. Also, big companies don't normally do rereleases either. Something is usually changed or modified to make any secondary releases unique. People have been waiting years on Hasbro to rerelease their Classified series arctic BAT and plenty of older figures don't even get the chance to have a second run.
Well, fuck, I wanted to actually really wind down my collecting. Time to cancel some preorders and sell some stuff...
>>11893914And I was about to buy the dark Wukong and his light up rock. Guess I'll wait.
>>11893914Quoted from the associated 5ktoys post:At WF, we’ll be showcasing Freyja and one other Valkyrie. After the show, we’ll work toward opening pre-orders for Sváfa as soon as possible. We’ll also share updates on the dwarf line at WF and continue moving it forward afterward. The werewolf is already in development. Articulation is a major focus, and we’re putting considerable effort into making it a figure with both a top-tier sculpt and exceptional poseability.1. Historical FantasyBuilding on our female body, we’ll first refine the female Crusader design, followed by Athena and female soldiers. Once the male body is ready, we’ll continue developing heavily armored male figures. Other female characters, such as Cleopatra, will also be introduced along the way.2. Norse FantasyOur three current Valkyries are nearing completion. In 2027, we plan to introduce a new 2.0 body and a male body, alongside mythological heroes such as Zeus and Thor. After pre-orders open for the dwarf line, we’ll begin early planning for a goblin line.3. Dark Fairy TalesFollowing the werewolf, a succubus, a female vampire, Little Red Riding Hood, and Snow White are all in the preliminary planning stages.4. MonstersFor now, the Tiger Monkey and the werewolf are the main highlights. We’re also considering creatures such as Bigfoot, yetis, and centaurs for the future.5. Chinese FantasyZhu Bajie will most likely be on display at WF. We’ll be putting more effort into Sun Wukong 2.0 in 2027, and we’re also considering when to introduce other major characters, including Nezha and Erlang Shen.
>>11893914Looks promising. Really looking forward to a lot of the stuff here.
>>11893914Pretty fucking ambitious. The female buck is supposedly really good, but just too damn big. That said, could be down for Cleopatra, gobbos and the werewolf.
>>11893914Looking forward to the Zeus and Goblins in particular. The Zeus for sure to go with my XesRay figures (sure he can be Jupiter).Female vampire also sounds interesting.
>>11893831Well that sucks. Guess thats money they won't be getting from me
>>11893952>We’re also considering creatures such as Bigfoot, yetis, and centaurs for the future.I hope they do this. I know the loosecollector one exists but it was just a bit too big imo. And the cryptoids one just slightly too goofy.
>>11894040>too damn bigAgreed, but I think for most of the females they are doing it can work well. Valkyries, goddesses etc. bigger works for me, the crusader ones probably not and vampire is debatable depending ont her design.
>>11893831I've got one left, unopened. Wonder how much I can get for him? I got twelve and sold them for $250 each no problem.
Scalpers need to be lynched in public
And companies not doing reissues
The coming remake better give us some fucking OoT Ganondorf figures.
>>11894107More than retail, but considerably less than $250. Now that the hype beasts have moved on to the new figure du jour prices have cooled.
>>11894040>but just too damn bigI consider all 1/12 chinese female figures to be 1/10 scale at this point.
>>11893914A Fairy Tale line has potential. I would want a Humpty Dumpty and Mother Goose too. Humpty Dumpty could have a normal body or a broken shell version
>>11893914>>11893952>Norse Fantasy>ZeusIs this the Asian equivalent of asking a Chinese restaurant if they serve Pad Thai and California rolls?I'm going to need to be very selective with this whole line.Crusaders are almost a certainty, even if the chick is "out of scale" which is just pleb talk for appropriately tall and sexy, which is how I like my women. Considering unhelmeted Mythics have heady syndrome, her head should scale fine.More gobbos and dwarves are always welcome, but I would kill for something Norse that is a deeper cut than just Thor. Give me some Volsungs Saga and Poetic Edda. I want to see Sigurd and Wayland the Smith. Hell, I'll settle for Beowulf, which is closer to Norse than Cleopatra is.I'm interested to see what direction they take the Dark Fairytale line and if it will be just a straight interpretation of Red Riding Hood, or if they put their own twist on it. Either way, I hope we get a traditional old crone witch from either Snow White or Hansel and Gretel.I'm down for the werewolf if what they say about the articulation being the main focus turns out true. There are some poses that Veteran Williams can't quite hit that I would love to see them pull off.And they might as well just call their Chinese Myth line Journey to the West at this point. Curious to see how they will do Nezha's wheeled feet.>JirojinOk, that's weird. That's the Japanese version of the Old Man of the South Pole aka Xian of Longevity. Still technically a JttW character, but it's weird that a Chinese company would use the Jap name.
Okay so this is underwhelming to Mr. It seems they abandoned their initial idea of having three completely different armour designs and have decided to just go with slightly different paint jobs. When they first showed these guys a couple of months ago, they had a really nice fullt armour and semi armoured one with capes and now it's just bikini armour only. Will probably skip I think, unless the price is really nice and I might get one as a proper shaded blank.
>underwhelming to me*
And lastly the shield is exclusive to the three pack, which is also incredibly lame of them. Hopefully they are cheap considering how barebones they are.
>Underwhelming when they use the best body on the market. Lol. What does suck is you have to get them because if you don't the aftermarket prices are going to be crazy.
>>11894648Can you remove the breastplate? Asking for me.
>>11894680All three versions of their blanks are still in stock on Gundamit. Also I didn't mean these figures were underwhelming, I mean the fact they decided not to do these versions to go along with it like they initially showcased. Hopefully the accessories are decent with them/they still have the cloak etc. and they aren't just bare bones.
>>11894849I also realise now how much Fury Toys must use A.I. They've used it for all the art recently, but clearly they also used it for these armoured figures, I actually thought that was a real prototype, but it must have been a prompt. Kind of depressing, not going to be able to believe any of the shit they show off from now on then.
https://www.fac book.com/share/1EkivRmE2H/
>>11894731yes>>11894849i think 5k gave a listing of what to expect on fb. i'm down for black and maybe the blonde editions. that shield is nothing to write home about. the armored torso looks so good i may have to use it
>>11894981See>>11894897
>>11894981>the armored torso looks so good i may have to use itAnon, did you just not read anything I wrote? They aren't doing the armoured torso anymore, that was my complaint, they've reverted to just three slight paint variants of the bikini armour. Also, that original armoured one was completely AI bullshit, it never existed, I can't believe I didn't notice the moment I saw it, her loin cloth literally blends into her cloak ffs. The fact that they used AI to pretend they are prototypes is really fucking lame, makes everything they show henceforth untrustworthy, they even faked it as being in hand.
>>11894543>Either way, I hope we get a traditional old crone witch from either Snow White or Hansel and Gretel.Same I'm a big fan of more generic figures and a witch seems like a real gap
Well fuck. Nottaa Extreme Aragorn, apparently pre-order on Saturday potentially. Nottaa are my favourite company as well, damn it, there is too much stuff.
I doubt 5k will do anything but this face looks pretty bad. Everyone agree?
>>11895571Yeah, that's pretty rough.
>>11895583Should I try to email 5k, xesray or just cut my losses and throw it on ebay?
>>11895585You can definitely try 5K, worst they can say is nothing they can do.
>>11895590K I'll try that. My Kassandra (Berenice) looks great so was hoping this one would as well.
>>11895571I think they posted a guide online about what they'll accept, I remember seeing it in a previous thread
>>11895602Eh by their guide looks like I got a good one.
>>11895363>licensedPrice gonna be expensive too
Could you guys help me with this? I found this Keepgoing skellie that has the flaming head, but now I realized that there are white and yellow colors. I'm pretty certain the flaming head is white, but the skeleton kinda looks yellow, though I'm not sure if it's the light.Anyone who has either or both could tell the difference?
>>11895712I don't own it, but from what I remember, the "yellow" version was more tan or light brown, like aged bones. But that was just from the preordered pics, I don't know what the production run turned out like.
>>11895726This is pretty accurate. I'm pretty sure >>11895712 is just the lighting. The secondary skulls don't really match any of the skeletons. Kind of a repaint it or just live with it deal.
So 4H had a reveal stream tonight showing off the newest Legacy subline releases. First up is a wave 1 update of one of the coolest skeletons released in the line Malleus. The new version features a new skull, new helmeted head, new chest armor and a pair of newish Axes with blades reminiscent of the original giant hand-ruining axes. He also features a new soft goods hooded robe piece for an alternate look.Malleus was the figure that finally got me to get into the original Kickstarter when it launched, cause a dual axe wielding screaming skeleton (he was the first to have the hinged jaw skull) was too cool to pass up. Sadly having him hold those dual axes permanently ruined his original hands and I had to swap them out so he could actually hold better weapons. I did want to give him the monstrous bone hands and feet from that bone hand pack, but unfortunately the colors are way off. I'm surprised they didn't go with those on this version, but I guess the full armored look matches his original build better.
>>11895730>The secondary skulls don't really match any of the skeletonsWait seriously? What the fuck, now I gotta watch reviews of these fuckers.
>>11895731Malleus is one of the skeletons I've been trying to get for a reasonable price while rebuilding my collection, so hopefully the aftermarket price of the original gets nuked by this release like with Valgard and Otho, because I still want the original one.
>>11895731Next up is a brand newly updated version of the wave 1 heroic Dwarf, Thord Ironjaw. Not many new pieces here, only having two new heads (one unhelmeted and joyful), pauldrons and a sword, he uses a completely different build making for a brand new look. More cloth and fur as opposed to original full plate get up. He also features the fantastic new battle axe and more interestingly, some fun non-weapon accessories for some downtime posing. I think their newest Dwarf builds have all been pretty fantastic, taking a race I felt was the most boring and making them far more interesting and unique. The new headsculpts each Dwarf has had goes a long way to helping them all feel different as well, especially compared to the original sets swapping the same two or three heads about. However I wish he used *any* other torso then that banded one he got, I feel like that one is way overused compared to some others and doesn't do him any favors. Of course, this also means this second Legacies wave once again features a skeleton and a dwarf, which is an odd coincidence if nothing else (especially since both dwaves have the same torso). So these guys will first be available NEXT friday during that weeks in-stock sale, but they will *only* be sold as a $110 two pack. They will also have a 2 per figure limit for the first 24 hours, if they last that long. After that, on Monday the 21s, they will have an unlimited Pre-Order period where they will be sold individually. Order however many you want from there, but that sale will *not* be an in stock release and you'll have to wait a year or so for this version.
>>11895749And as this was labeled the Legacy 3 wave, not just because it's the third wave, but because it actually has three figures, the final Legacy reveal is a brand newly built Ogre scale Kkurzog. The new body has butterfly joints, bicep swivels, mid ab and waist ball joints, double jointed knees, boot cut swivels and newly designed ankles (same joint, but the armor is on the calf, not the foot). He also has a new set of removable armor and pauldrons, removable helmet with flip up visor that works on both heads, newly sculpted head, and a brand new sword and shield. He also comes with the original harness if you want to give him his first release look. He took will be up for In-Stock sale on friday Sept 18, with a two figure limit for the first 24 hours, but he will be making an early appearance live this weekend at the 4h's booth at MOTUFEST in Covington, KY. He will also be up for unlimited pre-order the following monday along side the other Legacy reveals. In addition to the new figures, the 4H will have an "Instant Legacy Collection" bundle featuring ALL seven Legacy series figures released to date for $400. This set will count towards that "2 per person" first day limit, but it will also be extremely limited. I love that the Ogre buck finally got updated, as it was in need of some improvements, but there's still too many shard pieces (even if some are actually newly tooled) between him and the original for my taste. Though with this new build I can only imagine they have a new figure planned to make use of it so I'm excited to see what they come out with. Personally, I entirely intend to skip the Ogre, but I'm very much in for the other two. Malleus looks fantastic and those axes will work way better being dual wielded then those original abominations. And I kind of love all the new Dwarf builds so I'll very happily pick up Thord. Though he will be swapping torsos with Skali, that blue scale will look way better on a good guy.
>>11895736Yeah, seem to be just a bit off.
>>11895749>However I wish he used *any* other torso then that banded one he got, I feel like that one is way overused compared to some others and doesn't do him any favors.I think it was a tie between this torso and the Red Shield torso that got introduced in the same wave, but with this release the banded torso might have just edged ahead, but if need to do a proper count.
>>11895791Oh gosh, I never even thought of counting which torso got used more often...with how many releases they've had that could take an absurd amount of time and effort for something so nitpicky........and now I am trying very hard to fight the urge to do just that.
>>11895768>>11895749>>11895731these don't scale well do they?
>>11895768The new head seems like a bit of a downgrade and a missed opportunity to do a roaring ogre head. I'm glad it still comes with the original. I'm happy with almost every other aspect, especially the alt hands and the new weapons. I can't even begin to explain how much I hate the original ogre weapon. Yet another instance of them making a weapon modular and then never capitalising on that feature.
>>11895794Give me 10 minutes.I am autistic enough to do it.
>>11895796It's ok, but each is def a different height which looks so-so unless you have a good angle for the photo. The fact that Bog Goblin rarely gets any love kinda annoys me. He badly needed an update while Malleus, outside of the new axes, doesn't even bring a tickle to upgrade over the original. They loved to do homages. Why are we still waiting for some LJN love? The LJN Dwarf colours would be banger.
>>11895794Ok, here we go. For the Armory Knights, I am only counting the actual released figures, not what parts were at the con. And I'm pretty sure, excluding the Blue Shield Soldier, all of the figures with softgoods tabards use the original Valiant Knight torso, but only a couple of figures showed pics without the tabard.>Red Shield Soldier>Helphyre Goblin >Deluxe Skeleton LB>Duban>Vampire Phalanx >Gold Skeleton 2>Blue Shield Soldier>Silver Knight 2>Valiant Knight 2 >Armory Red>Armory Green>Armory Purple>Armory GunmetalTotal: 13.Vs>Magnus >Vorthogg>Deluxe Barbarian LB>Deluxe Dwarf LB>Shadow Orc Grunt>Sir Valgard 2>Dwarf Fighter>Mythic Monster Builder>Furious Four Uuwit/Peteorion>Lijae>Crossroads Revenant/Warrior>Armory Red>Armory Green>Armory Purple>Demistros>Thord Ironjaw 2Total: 16.And there we have it. Banded torso wins by 3. Though if you doubled up to have each version of the Crossroads, Furious 4, and both versions of Demistros, that also adds to it.
>>11895796.....what do you mean "Scale well?" They're all from the same line and all work perfectly fine with each other. They're all different heights, but that makes sense considering they're different races. But you could easily swap parts between the skeleton and the Dwarf, as they have the same build. Though some parts may look silly mixed with others considering the shortness of the Dwarf legs and forearms. >>11895797Agreed about that original weapon, of the half dozen or so Ogre scale figures I have that came with that weapon, I think I only have one figure using it. Though I will say it's still better then the hammer that comes with Ucczajk, that thing is so heavy he can't even hold it in one hand without the wrist flopping about. Honestly, the only Ogre sized weapon I think actually works is the great sword. >>11895802God speed anon...this is important information all three of us in this thread absolutely needs to know!>>11895803I mean, I get why Malleus was chosen, he's an important figure in the lore and an important release in the original series. But he's only downside from his original release were the awful axes, everything else about him still holds up today and he wasn't really that in need of an upgrade. But honestly I can say the same exact thing for Scaphoid, a figure who is less important to the lore and honestly needed an update far less. Thord certainly needed an update though, not sure if I feel the one we got is what I would've done, but it's still nice for him to get a new build seeing how much they've improved their Dwarf parts over the past few years.Still, as far as I'm concerned, if anyone needs a redo, update, Legacy release, it's Gwendolynne Heavensbrand. Her original figure was initially fantastic looking, but her armored head sculpt was just *awful* in it's final execution. She has this *huge* face but the rest of the head is almost flat outside of the neck socket. If anyone deserves a new head sculpt, it's her.
>>11895847with other lines. They all look like they have fucked up proportions. You know how most 6 inch figures like gijoe and marvel legends can easily be swapped and displayed together? I want cohesion.
>>11895837I appreciate your efforts anon, rest assured this knowledge will prove valuable to some one, some where at some point.....also I'm autistic enough to do it as well, Sir Benegarr also uses the Red Shield torso.I guess the issue is the Red Shield torso is fairly generic looking armor so paint jobs can help it blend in. But the banded mail is *very* specific and noticeable, so even though other armors see similar amounts of use, the banded armor stands out more for how unique it is.
>>11895847>Honestly, the only Ogre sized weapon I think actually works is the great swordWanna know what weapon works well with the ogre? You know that stupidly thick axe that came with Malleus that stretches normal figure hands, well guess what hand it fits into almost perfectly...I had one of my ogres dual wielding them for a while like what they intended for Malleus. It worked better on the ogre.
>>11895865>Sir Benegarr also uses the Red Shield torso.Well fuck me, I checked Beyithirr's Fury but didn't check him because I assumed he used the same torso under the tunic.Sloppy, sloppy work. Time for me to commit sudoku.
>>11895851Oh yea in that case no, these guys don't really play well with other lines. Their style, proportions and builds are very much unique, though consistent, within the franchise. You might be able to sneak in a figure here and there, depending on the build. But if you start getting too many Legions, they'll stand out against other lines and make it very obvious they don't really mix well. But a figure like Thord 2 would work well with Neca or S7 sized fantasy figures, so just having one or two won't be that bad.
so a piece of Cassias armor almost tore off when I was removing it, best glue for that kind of rubber?
>>11895869I never even thought to try that axe. I did try the giant Warhammer that sort of replaced it on certain figures, but the grip was too slender and it didn't really look good being held by an Ogre. I did find that the weapons that come withe the Animals Warriors of the Kingdom line work *really* well with Ogres. I gave one of their giant maces to Ucczajk and he wields it like it's a one handed mace. Their big sword also works well as a "normal" side sword for Ogre scale figures. Have to try out the axe from that line but I expect similar success. >>11895874Well if it helps, I personally completely forgot Demistros even exists, so I wouldn't have counted him in my numbers had I not read your post first. Team work makes the dream work Anon....even if that dream is checking to see how frequently a very specific body type is used on a decades old niche toyline.
Also I'm not going crazy and these arms skin tones don't match right? Anyone have there Cassie close they can check theirs?
>>11895875>But a figure like Thord 2 would work well with Neca or S7 sized fantasy figures, so just having one or two won't be that bad.Yeah, I have my NECA D&D, Gargoyles and Kessler Wolf with my Legions. I also have Super7 snake priest Thulsa Doom with them, but that's the only S7 fantasy figure I have. But honestly, I'm not a huge stickler for scale. The YotoToy Snake Skeletons have much thicker rib bones than the Legions skeletons, but it doesn't bother me too much. My Figma and SHF Berserk.and Dungeon Meshi figs being so pin headed compared to Legions and their hydrocephalic noggins bothers me slightly more.
>>11895887He left arm seems to match the torso. The right arm looks warmer, almost a more red tone.
>>11895803>Why are we still waiting for some LJN love? The LJN Dwarf colours would be banger.A lot of figures from the first wave, including Thord, were kind of stealth homages to the LJN D&D figures. They're legally distinct enough to not be copies, but with just a few tweaks you could easily see the influence. If they actually used those LJN colors, that might be considered flying too close to the proverbial sun. >>11895888Yea, these larger western figures do NOT go well with anime figures. Their giant heads are on full display when standing next to a Figma or Figuarts. Chinese figures on the other hand, can actually work well, but it depends on the release as some work better then others.
>>11895904K, it's not just me. I was going to look past the eyes but yeah I'll try to get a replacement.
>>118959145k said they'd get a replacement. Might take a month which tracks.
>>11895970Congrats. Hope the replacement is better than the one you got.
>>11895974Ha if not then at least I can configure her differently with the armor. I'm used to places saying sorry your sol so this was nice. Cheers friends!
Hmmm, I an underwhelmed. Looks like an amazing figure....until the face, which makes or breaks a live action rendition. Think they really didn't capture his likeness.
>>11896043Vigo seems to have one of those faces, also, the non-rooted hair version is the obvious one to go with. Comes with more accessories.
I was so sure this would have been an auto pickup for me, but I think I'll skip, the face is too much of a miss.
>>11896043still, quite impressive looking softgoods. the miniworks one had the face more accurate.
>>11896043>until the face, which makes or breaks a live action rendition. Think they really didn't capture his likeness. That's still a hundred times better than the SHF's likeness.
>>11896051Absolutely, I mean Nottaa make incredible figures and this looks so good. The face is excellent, it's just not Vigo so it looks weird. Unless Inart or someone else does one, this will probably be the best Aragorn for a long time, so it might be worth getting a custom headsculpt later to pop on. I remember their prototype of Legolas from last Wonderfest looked much better however.
>>11895571the fact that the face shifts down the nose... yeah, that's no good
Dejah pre-order on the 16th for anyone who is interested. I understand she isn't a character that can come with much, but I think I would have preferred another head or hair or something instead of the base. Though the base does look nice and helps recreate the painting for fancy displays with John, so I get it.
>>11896519It certainly won't be able to justify being the same price as John Carter
>>11896657I think all their figures, except Nekron because of the throne, have been the same price. I agree though, fingers crossed she is cheaper, but I don't expect it.
>>11896519Wow that seems like they skimped out on her a bit. I would have preferred another head and hair too, or at leaat some more weapons. John only got two weapons though as well, just seems like the base i ate up a lot of the budget.
>>11896519Christ, that looks awful. How could they fuck up Dejah Thoris?
I'm not sure if I'm having a brain fart, but did Mythic Legions release a gitd skull head pack? Or was that Mezco?I know Legions had Hagnon who glows, but that's an entire figure.
>>11896519This looks rough, not sexy at all somehow. The girl from fire & Ice turned out pretty good, not sure where this went wrong. I'll wait for some more pics but it's not looking good here.
>>11897954nah, Legions never did a gitd set like that, so you must be thinking of a different company. >>11898067Yea, I was planning on grabbing her sight unseen for a long time, but now that she's been fully revealed....combined with budget shortfalls, I think I'm going to have to pass on her. Something about her just feels off, but I don't know if that's the figure itself or just poor photography.
>>11898067>>11898083>>11896519I spent a good amount of time checking this out and the two biggest issues are: 1- the face. It looks nothing like Frazetta's painting and looks barely different from their Teegra figure. I know Frazetta has a distinct style but his women- especially some of their faces- do *not* all look the same. This figure currently looks like some kind of meso American or Spanish woman, while the painting has a more asian look to her, and the hairline, hairstyle and even skin tone is all wrong. I've included a quick rough mock up to somewhat improve her. 2- the upper torso, especially the boobs and the cut right below them. This is tough because I don't know the solution here but a break without any kind of bra to help disguise the joint just completely kills any of the sexuality or sensuality that the sculpt should have. It doesn't look natural or good at all, it looks like she's deformed. I think this is a case where a seamless torso sleeve or, worst case, just flat out a torso with no cuts would have been preferable here. Anyways, like I said still gonna wait for more pics, but currently it's a no for me. If they can improve it significantly before release I'll happily reconsider.
>>11898097when I mentioned how bad the breasts looked when she was shown off you fags called me a incel here lol
>>11898097The skin colour is more accurate to her book description. Most of the FG figures have been semi-interpretations of the paintings combined with making the characters work as a more universal version, Conan was a good example as he was much more imposing than the actual paintings. As iconic as his paintings of her are, Frazetta kind of fucked up the skin tone, she is supposed to be red like the Martian dust, not yellowy and pales, so I actually prefer their colouring. I will also say, that every one of their figures have made improvements and changes from these earlier showcase versions, at least of the paint front, so I have no doubt she will end up looking better in the end, but I agree they didn't translate the face properly.
>>11898098Well, they weren't wrong, you are
>>11898134how can you like those breasts? my xesray looks better
>>11898098Tiddies look fine. It's the visibility of the articulation cut that the other anon is talking about.
>>11898140yeah that's part of the breasticle
So I checked the archive and didn't really find much about these DIY Knight model kits, even though they are small and dirt cheap, I could waste the $8 on something that might not last but I might enjoy more, like a shot of Japanese whiskey?
>>11898170Given the box measurements the end product might be close to 5.5" MOTU Origins scale
>>1189817015,5cm. as you can see dont buy the gold knight its more like yellow, gold skelly is fine.
>>11898327That skeleton could pass as an enchanted construct.
>>11898300Amazon says they are 5.5, so yes. I don't collect MOTU so that doesn't help. Since they are model kits, I was wondering if you can add say a half inch or an inch to the leg or torso (or both?) - that's why I was wondering. Also, I know some of the Boss Fight stuff would scale with 5.5 but I've never looked at their stuff much because it's overpriced, for what it is, IMO>>11898327I was thinking of buying the box of 4, that comes in different colors for each, since it's only $24. So you didn't buy, you're just offering your thoughts?I do agree that the gold is absurd, the blue looked good, on silver/metallic. Even the red isn't bad.>>11898344They don't all come with skeletons but Hobby Link Japan has nice ones, just way overpriced
Why does the stuff I like have to be China-exclusive and with a really limited quantity?
>>11898425He looks like a jelly spider.
>>11898433kek
>>11898371>So you didn't buythats my pic
Weird that Skeleton Warriors is coming back>Original series flopped due to numerous speculations IE toys possibly freaking kids out or causing their parents to throw shitfits, Playmates' trademark retardation made them release the villains first and the heroes later, show was too grim for kids, Rangermania was in it's prime, etc.>Creator is a pedo>Is still owned by a literal who company who despite controversies with the creator and the original series flopping, still care about it
>>11898098The boobs themself are fine, it's other parts of her that are the problem. Specifically the hair pieces and face, though the limited accessory count is also worth mentioning. I'll be honest, I don't even know what other items could be included with her, but what we got just feels incredibly bare bones, especially compared to some of the decked out male releases.
>>11898472And thanks, for the clarification. But those are not the same things I am looking at, which look more metallic than yours? But yours are also kits?I know someone else also bought something in gold that he got into some nice poses, and came with a horse and he put the torso on the horse body and called it his centeur knight, which looked very cool.
Anyone ever purchased these from NECA? I love the Mythic Legions one that's up for pre-order but the boxed version of this D&D has two swords plus more accessories. Or is their something else in 1/9-1/12 that has plenty of accessories?
>>11898745I had like all of the delexe versions whatever they called them and they are really good but they are tall. Neca is like 7 inch scale.
>>11898775Thank you. I actually have some Masterverse figures which are all 7 and some McFarlane and other things I was thinking of making a discrete display.
>>11898745If you're gonna get these guys, the Deluxe sets are the way to go. The figures themselves are pretty ok, but the amount of stuff their first runs came with make em more then worth it. That said, a Legions figure will have way more range of motion then the NECA figures, even with a comparable amount of joints. If you feel Legions have limited articulation, a NECA figure will feel like a literal brick. They look nice and can pull of some decent poses, but they're not nearly as fun to fiddle with as a Legions knight.
>>11898822Anytime. Get the deluxes if you can. Great accessories and shelf presence.
>>11898745I have the Ultimate version of all of them except Zarak, but they are all put away at the moment. What the other two anons said is pretty spot on. The articulation is a bit limited, and they are tall, but that works for the baddies. I really like Warduke, but Grimsword is a bit meh. I don't know, I love snakes so he should be right up my alley, but he just feels kind of cheap, which is fine since finding him for close to half price should be easy.Strongheart feels way more refined than those two. I think his elbows had the best range of all of them, but his height makes him stand out if you have him next to Legions. The real star is Ultimate Elkhorn the dwarf. That little bastard is like a figure and an accessory pack all in one. The amount of shit he comes with is crazy. Insanely good value. If I was going to shill anons into buying any from the line, it's him. Do not get the 50th anniversary carded version of him. They cut out at least half of his accessories.
>>11898853Zarak is also pretty great, but since he doesn't come with nearly the amount of accessories as Elkhorn, he's less impressive of a figure. But I agree with everything this anon said, Warduke is fantastic, Elkhorn and Zarak are amazing, and Grimsword is easily the weakest of the entire line. Even at $16 on sale at BBTS, I feel like I over paid. His sword is kinda flimsy, he's the least articulated out of all the figures, his mace storage barely works and his shield is a pain to get on and ends up being floppy on his arm. His size does make for an imposing evil warrior, but he's only worth grabbing on deep discount. But the rest of the line is worth their price and I'm honestly sad the line died when it did. D&D just has no luck in the action figure realm, as they've had some great toys but they all seem to not move. I'd kill for Hasbro to put in the effort they do with their Classified line into a D&D line. Their Joes are some of the best western figures on the market, if they spent similar budget and energy on D&D figures (and monsters), I'm sure the line would be amazing.
>>11898859GIjoe seems to have the only decent team at Hasbro. With Star Wars being far and away the worst.
>>11898600its the same thing, it has variants, mine dont even come with boxes. for the gold knight maybe i got scammed and they sent yellow instead idk
>>11898878GI Joe team got fired and I'm glad, because it's not even gI Joe anymore. They're just copying Overwatch now.And it was kinda shit before too, because they were just copying the 80s shit, instead of trying to expand on the GI Joe mythos like it did in the 00s and 10s.
>>11898839GameStop apparently sold it, not just horror, which is usually all the NECA they tend to carry. So I guess I will have to check out the stored in my metro area since the search on their app remains shitty.Target's app also has both versions, with the 50th still able to be ordered for home delivery.NECA's own site just has the blister cards showing so I sent them a 'contact us' inquiry.
>>11898853>finding him for close to half pric>>>11898859>deep discount Some of the pictures do look interesting, thanks! One thing I do love about most of the NECAs I own is the accessories. Even though I had the original Pee Wee, I gladly picked up the Ultimate release for the different things in the box.
>In times of old, there was no order — all things stood only as gray and white in opposition. Then came color; color had its sound, and sound had its order. All things settled into their places, and none dared overstep. New 1/12 Articoy project, Stare-Jobberknoll, will make its debut at WF 2026 Shanghai with — Feather-clad Anael, Nightfrost Wraith Veslian and The Azure Oath Morien.Stare-Jobberknoll has to be equally my favourite and the dumbest name for a figure series yet, incredible. Some more not-From Soft styled designs, though I like the girl one's concept, hopefully the figures reflect it well. Jobber Knight one.
Jobber Knight two. I like this one.
>>11899269>A Jobberknoll is a magical, speckled blue bird from the Harry Potter universe cringe, though I think it's a female artist so whatever they love that stuff.>>11899270Not bad. I'd buy this one depending on how they do it. Makes me excited for the Amano Crow Knight now that I remember it
>>11899279>Amano CrowYeah that figure looked nice, hope it turns out well for you.
>>11896519>>11898524>>11898097There's a lot they could have done. Like this one anon says she needs better, more accurate heads and hair pieces. In terms of additional accessories could have given her an alternate upper torso with the pink bra for her look in Frazettas painting vs the banth. If they wanted to go all out hell they could have made a big deluxe 2 pack with an articulated banth(that awesome giant tiger monster). I am not a fan of the statue woola, should have at least given it a ball jointed neck, opening mouth and ball shoulders for the front arms. Back to dejah also could have included the 2 moons/planets seen behind her and John in the painting as a backdrop, shaped like thin cookies. So: more accurate and alt heads, alt torso, banth, planet/moon standees. Could also include an optional cape and sword which she sometimes has in extended media.
>>11899352The one in that painting with the banth is Thuvia btw. I still agree though it's not like they are going to make Thuvia later.
>>11899155>lies and misinformationWhat exactly do you get out of this? No one was fired, the head guy left because he didn't want to relocate with Hasbro and it went to the guy just under him. Also how can you complain about them "copying Overwatch" while at the same time complain they "copied the 80s" at the same time? Your post is dumb and your complaints are worse. >>11899269>>11899270Full on Soulsborne up in here. Interesting concepts, but I won't care until I see pics of an actual figure. You can have the fanciest promo art in the world, but it's far harder to make an actual 3d in the flesh figure look that good.
>>11899545The only person spreading misinformation is you. It's pretty obvious that Hasbro is (was?) firing everyone at the gI Joe team, hence so many people who used to appear on the GI Joe streams no longer there. The marketing cow and the lead sculptor also left. And ever since they left, nobody seems to have replaced them, hence all streams since then having some random youtuber announcing new products. You say that they didn't want to relocate, yet two of them are now working for a company in the same state that Hasbro is relocating to. Boss Fight Studio is only 15 minutes away from Hasbro's new location, retard. And since you're retarded, of course you don't understand what words like "now" and "before" mean
>>11899732The G.I. Joe team specifically did not get fired. That is a lie. There were large layoffs, but they were not specifically focused on the G.I. Joe team at all. Two major names in the team left on their own to work for Boss Fight, but that's not being fired. Emily Bader is still very much emplyoed by Hasbro and has never specifically been a Member of the "G.I. Joe Team" but a general Global Marketing Manager of multiple franchises including Transforms and Ghost Busters. She did not leave, she moved up, so again you are posting lies. The current team working on G.I. Joe now is Lead Designer Eric Siebenaler and artists/designers Marcelo Matere and Ken Christiansen so again, your claim no one replaced those who left is a flat out lie. All of the figures being released now are figures that were designed by those two, so the design philosophy change has not happened. The same guys who "Copied the 80s" also "Copied Overwatch" according to you. Now I can only assume by "Copying Overwatch" you are referring to the new Cobra cyber hacker dude...which also counters your point of them not trying to expand the mythos as they add new characters because Classified has introduced many new characters, so again, another fat lie.Everything you posted is utter bullshit and is easily disproven by five minutes on google.
>>11899834.....shit, didn't realize this wasn't a Joe thread, I'll refrain from responding about this topic going forward.....so anyone excited to get new Legacy figures this friday?
>>11899834>It's just a coincidence all the major GI Joe team members quit at the same time and had nothing to do with HAsbro letting their former employees save face!Only retards and children don't understand what's going on at the GI Joe teamI mean, you're doing a great job at pretending to be a retard or child, because you seem to believe that the "new" GI Joe team could release a figure as fast as you're claiming. IT takes over a year for a toy to be designed, produced, and released, so if any toy thats being "released now" like you said, that means that these members have been there for well before the important team members were fired. ... which they were. At least one of them was there since 2021. The team shrunk no matter how you look at it, and it's probably because they line is getting killed. They only need a skeleton crew to manage a dead line, so the least expensive people are still there to finish up what's left. You're just making shit up, just like you were making shit up before by claiming that they didn't want to relocate and that's why they totally left Hasbro of their own volition... despite going to work for another toy company that's not much further.Once a liar, always a liar. Also, i love how you completely failed at understanding what "now" and "before" meant and you're attempting to grasp at straws with your stubby Downy fingers.
>Subjectanon is shitting up the 4H general AGAIN>With sperging about...GI Joe?
>>11899973Is the Subby accusation the same as the reddit-spacing one from my original board, /co/, because it sure feels like paragraph spacing is the 'trigger' here?# # #Anyways, are these spears and swords nice and stiff plastic, or are they going to be sideways and limp like they have erection problems?
>>11900053they're stiff but that makes them likely to breakI'd recommend Spero weapons instead.
Curious if any of you are going in on the Nottaa Lord of the Rings line? If so, which Aragorn did you plum for and are you getting nine Nazgul? I've decided to sit this one out, even though I absolutely love Nottaa figures and LotR, in general I don't really have this strong drive to own them in figure form. I always reflect on the curiosity of that, why certain things I really want as toys and others, even if I enjoy the media/characters/franchise, I don't have the same desire. Are you guys like that at all or do you just want figure versions of all the characters you like from stuff?
>>11900076>SperoI'm guessing the Speri Studi I found on BBTS, kike these? And thank you!
>>11900303>I always reflect on the curiosity of that, why certain things I really want as toys and others, even if I enjoy the media/characters/franchise, I don't have the same desire. Are you guys like that at all or do you just want figure versions of all the characters you like from stuff?I think it depends on how well the character lends to other possible adventures versus what's already on screen, or how much it is suggested about them. You can imagine many adventures for Aragorn, but they'd probably be very similar to the ones he has in LOTR except less important, so you might as well just watch the movies or read the books. His world is also so built that it may be hard to headcanon other characters to interact with him if they are not present in LOTR. By contrast, it's easier to imagine Conan living endless adventures, meeting endless allies and enemies, each as exciting as the last. Even if you don't play with toys or create elaborate adventures in your mind, the general vibe is that you'd rather have a Conan toy than an Aragorn one.
>>11900303Maybe one Nazgul. I'm nowhere near enough of a fan of a LOTR fan for the Fellowship or nine Ringwraiths.
>>11900337Yeah I think you nailed it in one go anon, that's pretty much it I reckon. I guess that's part of the reason why I don't really care about live action stuff as a whole either, I only really own one, Inart Dark Knight Rises Catwoman and that's because I just always liked her look as a tactical, skin tight femme fatale, I don't even have any other DC figures. >>11900365What about a Gandalf when they get around to him? It will probably be the best 1/12 wizard figure we'll foreseeably get.
>>11900304>sighMeant SperO StudiOS and certainly not the slur
>>11900408Unconscious antisemitism is just as bad, goyim. Report for re-education.
>>11900053>>11900304So the Legions weapons are *super* sturdy, very thick, strong, solid plastic to the point where some of them are actually sharp enough to draw blood. With a collection of over 200 figures, I have yet to see a single weapon bend, break or snap yet. At worst, a shield peg may get sheered off if the socket on the handle is too tight and you try to twist it, but overall the weapons are super strong. Spero's weapons are also nice, but be warned that they have a MUCH thicker grip then most Legions weapons. If you plan to use the Spero weapons on Legions figures, there is a chance you could ruin the grip of that figure. To give a better example of how much larger a Spero grip is compared to a normal Legion's figure, the larger 9" Ogre scale figures can grip Spero weapons perfectly, but can't hold your average Legions weapon. >>11900337I feel the fact that Aaragon has so fewer *very* iconic looks while Conan can look almost anyway you'd want him to makes a great difference in collecting their figures. Like, I only want *one* good Ranger Aaragorn figure, but I have no problems collecting all the various Conans because they all represent the different images he's appeared in and styles he's been depicted with. When there's a large variety of looks for a certain character, it makes it easier to accept wanting multiple figures of that character. When a character has far fewer iconic designs, the need to collect more then one significantly diminishes.
>>11900411I will turn in my phone and refrain from phone posting.
>>11900528>Spero's weapons have a MUCH thicker grip>If you plan to use Spero on Legions figures, there is a chance you could ruin the gripGood to know, thanks!I eventually will get a few Mystic Legions but I want these for general use, but this is still helpful to know generally.
>>11891826
>>11900528are you trolling? If you had said that the weapons after 2025 were "super sturdy, very thick, strong, solid plastic" it might be believable, because you guys quit posting pictures of the problems the Mythic Legion toyline has had.But here you are, saying you own over 200 figures, which would mean you're including figures from when everyone was having problems with 4H's plastics literally being the opposite of your claim. It's like you want someone to prove you're wrong with your obvious shilling.
>>11901252Go post your lying bullshit in another thread hamhands, no one cares about your stolen pictures.
>>11901272>stolen pictures.Where does this term come from? Is it Twitter idiots with blue check marks who don't like their images being reposted, because it's taking revenue away from them? And you're a complete newfag if yuo don't recognize that photo as being my own, as I belonged to the now dead Mythic Legion General for over 7 years and constantly posted my own toys in there. And where's the lie? It was a constant problem with brittle plastics in the Mythic Legion General for years, hence it finally dying after 4H insulted their fans for complaining too much on twitter and other popular media.Basically, you're doing the same shit that 4H did, trying to discredit people who posted about their (common) problems on social media.Eat shit, Ericpic is another one of mine, that i assumed could never happen on a THICKASS peg. notice it's offcentered, because i wasn't perfectly centered when drilling it to insert a pin to glue it back together. You can also see i used transparent epoxy.None of these pictured accessories broke because i "hamhanded" them either. The figures have loose joints, so they couildn't support their own weight and fell onto the cardboard ikea desk they were standing on. They broke just from tipping over due to their shitty QC on the day i opened them.Both.One has 4 times the girth.Same issue.Years apart.
>>11901540If this thread is so dead why are you still posting in it? Fuck off.
>>11901540I've been involved in the 4H threads since all the way back when the Birds first hit their Kickstarter. Hell, it was these threads that convinced me to jump into the KS at all. I am literally one of, if not the, first person on 4chan to own and post pictures of an in-hand Mythic Legions figure from all the way back in 2015, longer then the seven years you claim to have been involved with them. I am very aware that one pic is "yours" because I remember you coming into these threads to bitch about how your broke it and people telling you to fuck off all the way back then. You were full of shit seven years ago and you're full of shit now.
>>11901621Also, in other news, I managed to snag the newer Legacies 2 pack, anyone else get in on this sale? The Ogre is super tempting, but he looks so close to the original (intentionally) that I think I'd rather wait to see the mold and parts get reused as something new. I never got any of the Half-Giants, so a new one of those with that build would be pretty cool. But then I run into a strange issue where most of my Ogre scale figures end up being good guys...and the good guys shouldn't have more giants then the bad guys. ......maybe I should grab Berodach while he's still in stock.
That one Ashen Oath project gets another try on kickstarter, now with a lower goal. I'm mostly interested in stretch goal dudes (the generic black knights Curfew of the Eventide and Talon Watch of the Eventide), so I'm observing for now.>>11901627>The Ogre is super tempting, but he looks so close to the original (intentionally) that I think I'd rather wait to see the mold and parts get reused as something new.I wouldn't ming it looking similar, but I really miss an action head for a brute like this at this point of the toyline. It does include two heads, imo they should have committed to one with two expressions. The apparent lack of vertical wrist hinges is also very underwhelming.

>>11901681>>11901683I been watching it, but I don't know if I want to commit. The figures look really generic and stiff, and them all having pretty much the same armor kind of ruins any desire to get more then one. I will agree the best figures are all stretch goals, but that's usually the case. And the Talon Watch should've been a solid black and sold at a lower price as an army builder. Depending on finances, I may dip in for the gold skeleton with the helmet, and if he unlocks maybe the Dracula looking dude. But I'm not super thrilled by this line and it's reboot didn't really change my mind about any of the problems this first KS had when it failed.

I'm not sure how you fumble skeletons in plate armor, but they sure as fuck did. Still, hope folks that do like them get 'em.
>>11901544The Mythic Legion Thread stopped existing after 4 Horsemen shit on their customers for not accepting shitty quality toys and the resulting implosion from the remaining fans. There's a reason why most discussion in these threads is about other fantasy toylines, retard in denial.>>>11901621Lemme quote someone from "Disappointing lines that got you hyped" thread from way back in 2017 about someone's view on the Mythic Legion General>I went to the ML thread once because I heard the line had 1/12 knights and Goblins.>The thread was a circlejerk disaster.>You aren't allowed to criticize anything even if you have photographic evidence of your issue. And this guy was responding to another guy who said>Similar to NECA, this line also suffers from rabid hostile fanboys who will defend everything the 4H didPosts 6245632 and 6245099 that you can find in our archive. This is how other people view the dead General. Full of fanboys denying the problems of the Mythic Legion line... and probably still are, since you assholes have admitted you stopped posting your problems because you're afraid of your pics being used against 4H.BTW, i posted a ton of images of the Mythic Legion line at SDCC when it first showed up there and also I posted my Scarabuses years before, and my Timelord minions, and my Queens, and the animal monsters, because I had been a 4H fanboy and posting on /toy/ (since 2008) over a decade before the Birds came out Unlike you, i won't lie or even defend shitty products just because i fanboyed for 4H. The 7 years i mentioned are when i finally gave up on 4H and stopped regularly coming to the Mythic Legion threads. It doesn't mean i stopped looking though, because i like the designs, which actually makes me angry that i can't buy them because fuck their terrible QC.I was the biggest proponent for the Trolls way back when they were first announced and put up for funding, so i only had to fairly express my disgust when they finally came out.
Just a reminder folks, where the OP says to "Not feed the Troll", that's not a generic warning, that is a specific reference. When the troll rears it's ugly head, do not feed it.
>>11902250Didn't that guy reveal he was an automated spambot one time?
>>11902551Yea, not sure if it was in the Legions thread or another one though, he's generally disliked across all of /toy/ and has been for *years*.
>>11902250>if you have a legitimate problem with the Mythic Legion line, you're a troll. This has been the Mythic Legion General's MO for 9 years while it existed:>all proof showing legitimate problems are fake and gay and just the same guy samefagging despite the Mythic Legion Generals having IP counters back in the day and the Mythic Legion General finally dying after almost every single poster turned their back on 4H after 4H insulted everyone for their QC problemsAnd it's no wonder the Mythic Legion sales take weeks without most things selling out, instead of when the sales took minutes if not a few hours for everything selling out, because they lost most of their fanbase.>>11902551It's just cope, because you want to delegitimize all complaints, because there's actual shills in this thread who want to sell more products by lying about the quality or changes of Mythic Legion products.Even if 4H improved the quality of their products, it's very hard to believe you assholes after over a decade of lying and shilling.Again, you assholes admitted you would no longer post photos of your problems with your new Mythic Legion figures because your photos would used as "ammo" against 4H.It's sad you guys share a thread with all the other fantasy lines now. You assholes should have just moved off to the tight circlejerks on facebook so you can just delete any message that reports any problem, just like 4H has asked them to.
Big green dragon when
Spartalia versions revealed, both look pretty nice. I believe the not-Kratos arena one comes with a spear and the other one also has a sword. Not sure which one I like more, the gold and brown one looks nicer overall and matches with Berenice better, but I like the pale skin, helmet and markings on the black one.
>>11902960Oh also in case people didn't realise, this is a new body sculpt, more muscular and a bit taller I believe compared to the previous girls.
Okay now with these photos I think the Mercenary gold one looks especially nice. She also has a very Berenice-like face. Also, do you guys prefer when I do the pictures combined like this or would you prefer them individually?
The black just looks a little more flat to me.
She looks amazing here, think this is the one I'm going to get if I can, though depending on price I might go for both.
Fuck man say it ain't so, 5ktoys is the most expensive of the Chinese stores and anyone outside of America gets fucked on shipping from them. That's deflated my excitement.
I like the skintone on Gold more, but still lean towards the black armor. I hate Gold's helmet just too much.>>11902964>Also, do you guys prefer when I do the pictures combined like this or would you prefer them individually?I would link to source for individuals, but I understand combining them to save pic slots.
>>11902964These threads don't hit the image limit that you NEED to combine pictures but I sometimes like to be able to look at related or relevant images side by side, so it depends on the point?
>>11902977>>11902972Okay fair enough, I'll default back to individual mostly and only side-by-side if it makes sense, I just always feel weird about spamming ten images in a row or whatever sometimes when there are a lot of pictures.>I hate Gold's helmet just too much.I still like it, but I agree, the classic hoplite with plume helm is much better, I wish it were the gold versions as well. Still bummed about the 5ktoys thing, I hope they just mean like "exclusive to overseas/America" but all the usual Chinese stores like Gundamit/BBB etc. all list it anyway. My memory is probably wrong, but I swear they said the same about Hildr or one of the other figures and it was still available everywhere.
