Question of the thread: In the context of a journey, or something along those lines, how big of a party is "too much" for you? Are you the type who prefers the main players to just be the human male and waifur? Or mayhaps you're an enjoyer of the "protagonist trio" trope? Some more pieces of advice I can give would be to not be afraid to use references, ESPECIALLY when you're learning. Having a solid reference in mind or in view can make learning the body shapes, and thus, anatomy, much smoother. It will also help you understand proportions better naturally. There are plenty of sites that straight up allow you to pose 3d models, and I still use them from time to time, if only to make my life a little easier, but most of the time, I try posing the models myself. By playing with the forms, you can also go about making different styles (for example, making the head bigger, and playing with shapes of the body, you could get a chibi style, for example). Good luck on your art journey, bud. You can do it for sure!
