Take the image, upscale it to your target resolution however you wish, push that to latent space and then sample it like i2i with a lower denoise and step count. There are also methods to upscale it in latent space, and in my case I have CNet Tile as a part of the process.That's what's nice about Comfy, it doesn't mask the process and you can influence it however you want.
