I caught up on Griseus, and I will say it was pretty good. The presentation most of all, as it does many things differently overall. Like taking control of the mouse if you refuse the voice. As well as just playing with the format and going meta with it. I'm still a sucker for that. While it is most likely something supernatural going on, I'm amazed how well a metaphor for mental illness works here. It also feels much more impactful because of how extreme it is. It was also interesting to see some payoff for his "other self." It deepened the mystery in some nice ways. It was also nice to see Malik again, and I guess his sprite got updated to match the CG. While he isn't a love interest, it feels like the choice with him might be important later. The scenes with Gray and Wayne were very heartfelt. I'm glad this update could deliver on what was set up and still go strong. Still glad I put it as my top VN of 2025. Since May Wolf still has nothing, I think I will catch up on some routes in Sihai's Legacy since I haven't read it after the sprite rework.

Alright that was a cute micro VN I guess, if you wanted one that was voice acted well there you have it. I remember anons were asking about music and where to get it from. My trick's been downloading free games, both VNs and RPGM games, and checking out what composers they use. You're better off going beyond furry examples and looking for stuff that's popular enough to have autists make lists of each in-game track and the composer + a link (like Black Souls), but the bulk of Morenatsu's soundtrack is from SENTIVE, and a BL game (Cage) also uses tracks from them. If you google them, you can find a whole buncha stuff to download, and that's just one site.If you're lazy, though, here's some other composers I've grabbed stuff from. (Note that you'll likely have an easier time "stealing" from doujin games instead of sifting through entire sites' worth of music.): G-SoundRengoku Teien (on archive.org)OtologicPerituneMusic Eggnoiseless worldSosakudo Sakura Momiji M-ArtAmacha MusicDOVA SYNDROMEOther than that, I like using Free Music Archive, Open Game Art, and Newgrounds (you can filter your search by commercial use allowed, just don't be dumb and use any remixes of shit from video games or whatever). Especially JP ones, they tend to have better tracks and take rules seriously, so if you get some porn and like tracks from it that they've gotten from somewhere, you're safe to assume you can also use those tracks in porn.

Just finished Shared House, it was a really enjoyable read.It was interesting what they pulled with Daichi, seems like he's less asexual and more just Zento-sexual, which made sense for the story to take. The memory loss plot was really dumb, but I can't complain, because it led to so much Azuma focus and shiptease between him and Zen-chan. Season 2 was probably my least favorite, but only because I didn't really find the conflict between Satoru and Yasu that entertaining, so it felt like more of a sideplot disguised as a main plot.I enjoyed the ultimate conclusion, because as that one anon said, Daichi and Zento really do belong together, but I still yearn for that Zen-chan x Azuma AU, because Azuma's feelings for him are just as strong as Daichi's, the fact that he gave up his own feelings just to support that dumb dog's development made him amazing. I was crying right alongside Zento, when Azuma told him he would be leaving the school and country. That tender forehead kiss he gave Zento twisted up my heart real good. Azuma getting raped by his much older step-sister when he was a middle schooler was surprisingly dark though, man I just want to see this wolf happy with his tsundere cat.Overall, pretty great story, even if it dragged near the middle for me. So while your priority should be not falling behind in your studies, it doesn't stop you from socializing (quite the opposite, it gives you more time to make friends and go out. It's the people who fall behind that never have time to hang out).As for me personally, I made three friends, one of which is most likely going to stay at acquaintance level. I'll try to reach out to the other two even after I finish uni because making friends afterwards sounds like a nightmare.
