im back, and with a new phone!

my archives have suffered greatly because of this setback, but hopefully I'll be able to recover the internal storage contents of my broken phone. The phone is bent and the screen is completely black, but i think the phone isnt totally dead cause it still does the small vibration to tell me i have unread notifications when i pick it up, and the vibration to tell me my fingerprint is wrong when i try to scan it. Ive been googling stuff about how to mirror my phone's screen onto a monitor and try to use it with a keyboard/mouse, but i dont have the proper equipment/programs at this time.

Admittedly, im technology retarded, but im hoping i can figure out a way to recover the data myself. Cause not only is the galaxy s20 fe such an old model i doubt i could get another one to do a motherboard swap, but im sure it would be embarrassing to ask a data recovery service to save my collection of porn and other sensitive images and videos...

Hmm, the one I know of without equipment is the smartshare system, but that requires unlocking your phone screen. A USB-C to HDMI cable might work, assuming your screen still has the touch function working. Otherwise, you'd need a data splitter of some kind, and I'm not knowledgeable about that.

If you're still getting messages and alerts something in there is working. Replacing the screen is a common first step to see what's up. You don't even have to go to a shop, most screens are held in with a ribbon cable you can undo yourself without much technical knowhow.

Yeah, still trying to decide on a lock screen, but as far as home screens go, on my old phone i often used an app that let me have downloaded videos as my home screen background, and would have some r34 video playing behind my apps. Ideally, i really want to find an app that has the ability to cycle through videos every so often; i think thats just a built in feature with pictures but i cant seem to find anything for that with videos. Ive wanted for a while to have it that whenever i back out of apps/open my phone, theres a different video playing, and then i could get a folder together of 9x16 aspect ratio videos of sexy pones for it, but never did find an app that can handle that task with my old phone. I should try looking again now though, with my new hardware.

I just got this moto g stylus cause it was a really good deal for the hardware it has compared to other midrange phones and cause of its sd card AND audio jack, which its basically unheard of on most phones now a days for a phone to have both.

Doing research for this phone has opened my eyes to the midrange market, and its crazy how good these products are compared to flagship slop. It was like how many years ago i switched from iphone to andriod and felt like the world was my oyster all over again. I stuck with the galaxy s line cause up until the 20 they still had sd card slots, but since i already had to drive halfway across the state to get the 1 available galaxy s 20 fe 4 years ago i knew if i wanted an sd card slot i would need to look elsewhere, but honestly im glad i did.

Yeahhhh... honestly most my old apps wernt like that, and i just use luckypatcher for apps that dont have subscription based premiums, or for popular enough apps like capcut (that i used for pmv editing) you can usually find hacked apk's online if you look for them. The mobile landscape is for sure shit, but theres ways around a lot of the annoying stuff. Like getting a midrange phone with an sd card slot and headphone jack, for example. Lol

E6, and i think twibooru too, has an option to save the preview of the post youre viewing if its an image or gif, but usually there is actually a significant quality difference there, moreso than if i download the full size image and compress it myself while telling the online compressor im using to do it "lossless" if possible. And webms i just have to download anyways. I wanted to post a few webms earlier this thread, but because of the way android's filescan updating works the webms i was downloading wernt showing up right away, and even when i tried doing the file rename trick it didnt show up, so i just stuck to images and gifs.

Also i really wish 4chan would stop ip range blocking my wifi so i could use it

I was referring to zebradom/striped/raceplay. I was dancing around the term cause in past threads other anons expressed distaste for it, but honestly this general has basically just been us two for a couple weeks now. Rip this general, i hardly knew ye

Welp, i tried just now and ran into another disappointment. A feature my old gallery app had was that you could edit video format files (webm, mp4, etc), and in the past i just used the edit feature to remove the audio to post to 4chan, but my current app doesnt have that either by the looks of it. Fml
