It's similar to what another anon mentioned, how many people quit 4chan when they were forcibly separated from it briefly for a few days. It didn't help that in the immediate aftermath of the split there were people who'd attack anyone they recognized as posting about/being interested in Harahel even if they did it in the other thread. Mentioning that you had played or liked Harahel got shitposters after you, which further encouraged you to just stay away instead of using both.

Cyoag can only talk about 1 cyoa at a time, when something dominates the thread the complaints about it "drowning out discussion" show up, despite there not being any discussion before, nor after when the craze ends.Mcyoag can only run one thing at a time, anything else is bad and wrong, and because of that everyone tries to kill the runs they don't like so they can replace it with what they like. But then nobody starts anything despite being so adamant they had so many better ideas.In this place we can have only one fetish at a time, and we can't have bot btg cyoas and non btg cyoas at the same time, somehow.

Having to wade through shit to get just a little bit of enjoyment out of the little crumbs of content the others made, after also wading through shit, just isn't worth it. Anons need more to care, and the general can't provide. This thread is mostly quiet at least, you can actually enjoy content when it appears. But cyoag is a mess, and mcyoag is a whole different beast because the content doesn't need just one anon, it needs multiple to collaborate.
