Sequel when?
>>
Weren't they making a show?
>>
There's no point in doing a Dreddiverse unless you're willing to do Judge Death and that would turn off the losers who just want a cop movie

>>198534960
Doesn't matter, it's already too long beyond its best before date. Maybe in 2015 or 2016, but not anymore. Let it go my nigga.

>>198534960
no current male actor can play this part
>>
>>198535088
there was some talk about the writer/director wanting to do one and urban was willing to come back to play dredd, but that was six or seven years ago, don't think they were ever going to get anyone to back it with a decent budget since the movie wasn't a success.

Yeah, Rebellion had bought their own studio building and shit IIRC (since the owners are eccentric British dudes with lods of emone who just do that shit on a whim) but it was right before the Sino-City Sneeze froze everything so I'm pretty sure it's dead in the water since there's been no news about it in years.

>>198535129
Eh, there's already a Dreddiverse in the printed form anyway. The whole reason there's so many spinoff strips is there's a bunch to work with regarding the setting and cast without even needing Dredd himself or any of the big recurring baddies like Death.

I watched this and the Stallone flick and came out thinking "hey I like this stuff. I guess I check out the comics"

But the first megavolume and it was such garbage that I didn't even give it away, I just threw it in the trash.

massively filtered. soon enough there are a lot of top tier arcs such as the robot revolution, the emperor judge and the judge child quest. you're also missing on recurring characters and events such us otto stump and the umpty candy. dredd's comics are a fever dream. the first issues can feel dated but once you get into the mindset of how the universe works it's a 10/10
