There's no point in doing a Dreddiverse unless you're willing to do Judge Death and that would turn off the losers who just want a cop movie

The whole reason there's so many spinoff strips is there's a bunch to work with regarding the setting and cast without even needing Dredd himself or any of the big recurring baddies like Death.

I watched this and the Stallone flick and came out thinking "hey I like this stuff. I guess I check out the comics"But the first megavolume and it was such garbage that I didn't even give it away, I just threw it in the trash.

>>198536324massively filtered. soon enough there are a lot of top tier arcs such as the robot revolution, the emperor judge and the judge child quest. you're also missing on recurring characters and events such us otto stump and the umpty candy. dredd's comics are a fever dream. the first issues can feel dated but once you get into the mindset of how the universe works it's a 10/10
