It's funny that when Carl's Jr introduced the 6 Dollar Burger back in like 2002 or so, it was called that as a joke because if you were to go to a sitdown restaurant, that same "deluxe" burger you were getting would cost you 6 whole dollars! But at Carl's Jr, you were getting the 6 Dollar Burger for only a couple bucks!

Now here we are 20 years later, that burger would cost like $20 at any sit down restaurant and a single freakin hash brown at mcdonalds costs almost 6 bucks.

They only changed it to (((cane sugar))) once society became pozzed

Lots of people pointed out that a nationwide push to pay fast food workers $15/hour was going to make fast food prices soar. Nobody should be surprised that it happened.
>>
>>198579377
Why didn't they just incorporate tipping culture?
>>
just use the apps and stop buying meals.
I go to wendy's 3x a week and eat well for under $4
every now and then I go to mcdonalds because the app has $6 big mac meal or nuggets and a qpounder for like $5
fuck taco bell though, never again, jews

Thinking about those sweer potatos
>>
>>198579377
Minimum wage is $7.25/hr in my state and yet fast food workers are making $15/hr. This is because this is the wage employees and employers have voluntarily agreed on (and is a function of market dynamics). For some reason, this makes "libertarians" still seethe. I'm beginning to think their problem isn't with government but with the underclass having the gall to live more than a meager existence.

I am not seething, nor am I a libertarian. I know a little bit about how corporations and fast food restaurants work, though. To remain profitable you have to keep payroll under a certain percentage of your operating budget. Higher wages means higher payroll taxes means a larger share of your operating budget, and balancing that out means you have to either save enough money somewhere to make up the difference, or raise your prices. Fast food often does both, trading down to smaller portions made out of cheaper ingredients while at the same time raidsing menu prices. This is how you end up paying more for less, or "shrinkflation" as the media calls it. If a restaurant belongs to a chain and underperforms, then it is more profitable to close that restaurant. Lots of independent joints don't have the bank accounts of big chains to try and ride out the problem, and they are forced to close. Now you are paying more for less and have less choices of places to eat. This was an observable effect of the push for $15, things that actually happened all over the country, not something I am making up to push an agenda. It's also something a LOT of people pointed out was going to happen before it did, so I'm not some crazy person here.

>>198579885
Instead of increasing the minimum wage, it would be more beneficial to the economy to simply make the earned income tax credit available to all wage earners and expand it. This policy would prevent the closure of every Mom-n-Pop business in a state where the minimum wage shoots up to twelve or fifteen bucks an hour... Uncle Sam's gotta foot the bill to keep small business alive and give workers a reason to go work for them.

But he always turns it into a krabby patty even when the ingredients are inedible objects. See the episode where he switched to a French restaurant and he was physically incapable of making French food even when given ingredients you can’t possibly make a krabby patty with.

That'd probably be it. At home I'd most likely add another protein to the sandwich. Now mind you this would be the only thing I'd eat for the whole tday since I don't eat fast food anymore other than once every couple of months.

>Dosen't find the concept of an exclusively potato themed restaurant funny
I agree somewhat. Because I would eat there at least once. But I would find it humorously absurd.
>>
>>198580094
Taco Bell has gotten way too cocky, I've switched all my fast food purchases to McDonald's via the app.
