Like how superman fights villains with the same powers in superman 2. Everyone spreads this "Raimi didn't want it" rumor, but they've never listened to the audio commentary for 2 and 3 where he talks about villains. He was also pretty much promised he could do Lizard whenever he wanted, but they kept not knowing how to adapt it.
