Podracing was fucking awesome. Why does it never make another appearance? Its not in Mandalorian or any other spinoff. It really deserved its own film spinoff far more than Solo or Rogue One did.

We already have a movie like this. It’s called Grand Prix (1966) and George Lucas loved it so much the entire podracing scenes are directly influenced from said movie. Right down to the sequence of events, the flag opening, the way the shots are done, it’s literally a direct 1:1 reference.
