people make fun of this show for how sloppy its writing and plot can be at times, but i think that's what makes it great. shows like breaking bad where every episode plot fits neatly in the sequence of episodes annoys me sometimes. what i'm saying that there should be more open ends and unresolved questions.
>>198592464Once you pay attention to how people eat in that show, especially Tony- hell how movie people eat and drink. It is such a fucking bizarre experience. He bangs his fork, spins it around while looking contemplatively at it, rubbing it, lifting food up and tossing it back down. Like he's mixing pancake batter.Rewatched Unforgiven last night, and when the Kid gets drunk he keeps sipping, wiping his mouth, then blowing his mouth up like a fish. Like he's trying to communicate nonverbally that he thinks drinking is disgusting.

This to me is the perfect /tv/ thread. There are many varieties of thread on /tv/ but this is the most perfect one. It's the epitome of everything we stand for here. Whenever I'm skimming the catalog and I see a thread like this I know it's going to be yuks aplenty. It's the perfect blend of show reference and valueless garbage. It's the thinnest possible veneer of being on topic a thread can have. I'm proud to be a /tv/ poster whenever I see a thread like this. Thank you OP, and thank you to all the hilarious posters in this thread extending the joke by making similar thinly veiled "half a joke"-tier semi-references to the show, that make me go "heh." Special shoutout to the daring synthesists who really go all out and combine two show references with recent /tv/-localized ephemeral in-joke.

>They alleged that James consumed back-to-back orders of fried king prawns with mayonnaise and chilli sauce and a “large portion” of foie gras, with four rum shots, two beers and two piña coladas to wash it all down. A source also said: “Everything Gandolfini ordered was fried.
