I watched it in IMAX. I really enjoyed the action when it picked up and the big booms. When I saw helicopters I grinned uncontrollably. Nothing made me cringe, maybe sunglass boy, a little, but he had a point. You know, I'm a real sucker for wizened intellectual colored characters as well. I have no complaints and no regrets, except maybe having to stare at Cameron Diaz's old face or that girl's bubble butt a little too much. Overall I found it very elucidating and insightful. I found the most ironic part about the movie is that the story is told through the eyes of photo journalists and glorifies them (and is also critical of them), but in a real civil war in the 21st photo journalism would be completely obsolete with social media and every soldier having access to a cell phone camera and many using gopros. The middleman has been completely cut out.
