I had to
We used to live separate, on our own apartments
but he's getting worse, so I moved in with my parents to help take care of him
It's too much, we can't handle it anymore
Even when I didn't move he would spend his whole day texting me and videochatting about his issues
wish he would kiss himself and solve it for good
I lost all hope
there's no cure for this shit, there's no treatment
might as well khs

Is there a name for this sort of visual technique in Karel Zeman's The Fabulous Baron Munchausen and Invention of Destruction? I see it occasionally pop up in modern films like Life Aquatic or Poor Things. Not exactly animation but sort of imitating extremely elaborate practical theater props being moved by stage hands.

What's up with Eric Rohmer and why does it seem like this guy is obsessed with teen girls?
I don't blame him though, but still.
>>

Zeman is kino.

Seems more like he’s just not afraid of teen girls. Great film btw
>>
>>200297626
I'm just curious on what do critics thing about this obsession of his because it's quite obvious once you watched few of his films.

The man obviously think about these teen girls a lot. hmm,,,, again, can't really blame him... a bit too young for my taste though.
>>
>>200297773
What's interesting is that he was like 65 when he made this film. Just like Bresson who was 65 when he made Balthazar and Mouchette and almost 70 when made A Gentle Woman with a nude scene of an 18 year old girl.

agree to disagree then
>>
>>200298472
Change “sometimes” to “fucking rarely if ever, I can count on one hand the times it’s happened”
And this is only with older film analysis texts, this literally never happens with modern film “criticism”

Recommend me something good and spiritually potent like Vedreba (1967) and The Fifth Seal (1976). No French films about infidelity or perversion. Seen enough of those for ten lifetimes.

I don't have to force myself all the time, it's just most days I don't feel like watching films even though I have time. in the past I used to watch multiple films a day and love it. maybe I've just burnt myself out

Big part of the reason why he hated GODard is because of the movie theater scene in Masculin Féminin that mocks his work.
