Detective shows are my go-to, but I was literally forcing myself to finish it. In fact I even gave up on it a few times then convinced myself to stick with it, thinking it would pick up but it never did. The whole season was so tedious and boring and frankly pretty generic.I just kept checking how much time was left til the episodes ended. That’s how painfully slow it was. I felt like they were never gonna end. Granted, the show did get interesting when it went into the detectives’ personal lives, like the affairs and their kids and everything, but beyond that the whole show was just people talking. There was little beyond that. It’s just a bunch of bland tedious interviews and not much else.I can’t believe so many people like this show. I’m gonna catch flak for this but so be it. It kinda sucks because the cast was pretty amazing. Acting was top-notch but it was a snoozefest from beginning to end. Yes even with that Alexandria Dadario scene. Most overrated show ever

Tarantino used to be 20 based takes and 1 retarded take every once in a while.now it's like 50/50
PTA was recently asked about TV and he essentially said its a waste of time and he hates what its become and I think it's kind of becoming a based take. We have too many tv shows now, and a lot of them are these stories that could be told in 2 hours but instead are 10-30 hours long and its just a time sink. The prestige air around tv has faded. Not everything should be a show. That Alien Earth tv show was legitimately abysmal and that is what most of these shows are like these days, take a story you could tell in 90 minutes and drag it out for tv. I'd rather have procedural episodes than what we have now.
