Surprised no one has posted this. This if anything is an INSULT to the source material. Even if you knew nothing about the animated series the acting and pacing is just so weird. The whole thing seems so off and crammed. Some of the cgi is okay though, so I won't say everything is bad about this movie. Ironic thing is that I've seen this movie more times than other bad movies thinking "maybe it wasn't that bad" or "there's gotta be something I like".

You dont put a 30 million dollar race car on track if you think it's going to explode halfway through the race. The studio obviously believed in the project or it would never have been made in the first place. Just because it became a shitshow halfway through doesnt disqualify it.
