2011fag here who never touched normie social media until this past year, Tik Tok is the place to be now if you want edgy or alternative content that’s a mix of mainstream and underground like 4chan has always been. Plus it’s great even if you’re a true nonsocial anonymity preferring type because real names aren’t typically attached to accounts4chan is only good now if you like fucking around with and expressing yourself through text. I've been coming here since 08 but 4chans pretty much unusable now, nothing here offends me but it's just the same shit over and over, constant pearl clutching about woke shit, any discussion just devolves into calling people niggers and trannies without bothering to be funny or clever. The captcha and post timer makes posting extremely frustrating and you can't just shoot off a joke or two anymore, but the actual quality of posting has gotten worse instead of better. I started using the redscare subreddit during covid. It's not perfect and they can be overly sensitive about the Israel Palestine bullshit, but it's way more interesting and you can have discussions or make jokes with people that generally talk and behave like human beings and have at least a few braincells left.
