What makes a movie "reddit"?
>>217554188being popular
Joss Whedon's style
>>217554188When I don’t like a film it’s reddit and when I do like a film it’s kino. Simple as.
It’s like someone being ugly, you can analyze someone’s recessed chin and facial symmetry but at the end of the day you don’t need to. So im sure some autist could come in here and deconstruct soi faggotry redditness but it’s just obvious when you see it.
>>217554188Standard and overall unambitious but overly praised nonetheless.
Anything someone on /tv/ doesn't like.
>>217554188(You) liking it
>>217554188Black people
I don't know.Do you know why?
Not a comprehensive list but some of the big ones that come to mind:Le epic bacon beardwax consumerism is Reddit.Capefaggotry is Reddit.Unnecessary and distracting political commentary in media for children/teenagers is Reddit.Driving franchises into the ground to satisfy an infantile need for nostalgic content is Reddit.Quips as a substitute for dialogue is Reddit.Goy-sexy content is Reddit.Asserting that racism being the worst possible sin is Reddit.Pretending that trannies aren't mentally ill and gays aren't gross is Reddit.Nihilism followed by the moral of "just be nice" is Reddit.Slow-burn soƴboy "horror" is Reddit.Hope that helps.
>>217554188look at my balls. LOOK AT THEM!
>>217554188Anything that is popular and widely liked.Dogs are reddit BTW
>>217554220>>217555609You two are retards. As a simple example, Sopranos is popular on 4chan and Reddit and is not considered "Reddit". Calling something Reddit is not the same as contrarianism.
>>217554188The biggest marker is a lack of sincerity and the need to hide anything behind at least one layer of irony
>>217555691This comment is reddit
>>217554188if ppl on reddit like it
>>217555415>Goy-sexy contentthe fuck is that
>>217554188High concentration of slop
>>217554188Making your movies confusing and claiming it's a style choice.
On /tv/, Reddit is perceived as a bunch of naive tools who believe that being a nerd is cool. As a result, they're childishly enthusiastic about their hobbies (which they've only barely scratched the surface of), find random humor completely hilarious, and are notoriously pedantic. This is due to the fact that they believe that nerds are some kind of "cultural elite" simply because their interests aren't completely mainstream.BUT, since they don't see themselves as particularly alienated by society, they haven't developed the pleb/patrician paradigm, unlike 4chan. Consequentially, they also have the prudish, politically-correct mentality that goes with the delusion that they can still be normal members of society and accepted by potentially anyone, or that they have moral standards to uphold. This makes them very prone to being shocked or amused by the cheapest transgressions and subversions.Although keep in mind that "modern" /tv/(aka after 2013) is the product of reddit winning the /q/ wars in 2012
>>217554188If reddit likes it and we don't it's reddit. If reddit likes and we like it, then they're liking it for the wrong reasons because they're dumb.
>>217555799
>>217554188People who invoke outside sites on 4chan need to go back and stay.
>>217555848The 2016 election actually helped this board by putting and end to gingermods hellish plan to grow this board into another /v/ as all eyes went to /pol/ instead.
>>217554188Do you specifically like it
>>217555609Cats are more Reddit that dogs, though dogs are pretty Reddit
>>217554188That's easy. If any movie causes a redditir to do an extreme soil face just as they did when they reacted to marvel movies, then its reddit.
The only dogs that aren't reddit are pitbulls since reddit hates them.
>>217554188Anything that a mid wjt would consider in well made, or novel or intelligent. Etc.
>>217554188why do you think you're superior to reddit?
>>217556289>Anything that a mid wjt would consider in well made, or novel or intelligent. Etc.so basically just like 4chan?
intelligent, nihilistic and with a wicked sense of humor
