This is literally what the 4th amendment exists to prevent, police entering private property simply looking to find evidence on a hunch. But, on the other hand, there genuinely was mass death during 2020 and 2021. Millions more people died globally in those years than died in 2019. That is not a mere statistical anomaly or blip, that was people being killed by Covid which really was a horrible disease that I'm glad I never contracted. It could have killed the senior members of my family, and I'm glad that didn't happen, even though lockdowns sucked and at times seemed Quixotic.

I was not a fan of them, but I think people do blow out of proportion how much of a pointless failure they were. Doing nothing just was not an option, and there's a reason not one country chose to do nothing.
