I dislike how cows are treated because it leads to lesser quality meat. It’s not the same meat our ancestors ate. Cows have been bred over generations to be fatty as possible. The reason is the saturated fat profile is so bad is because of shitty human farming practices, giving them no room to forage and making them eat only grain. The fatty marbling on steak is not organic. Natural Beef from a 100% wild grass diet is hard to source. Happens with other animals too, wild duck and salmon are lower in fat than farmed counterparts

I don’t eat red meat that often, once or twice month(mainly stick to poultry and fish) but it’s gotten unfairly demonized over the past years. It’s not white bread or refined sugar tier. Eating lean beef once or twice a week is fine, it’s more nutrient dense than Chicken. Just don’t over consume which can be said about any other food.
