>Oh fiddle sticks, I'm trapped on a picture perfect desert island with mommy McAdams taking care of my every need and giving me unlimited sex, SOMEONE GET ME OUTTA HERE I'M GOING INSANE!!!!!Bradley was a grade A douchebag and I was rooting for Linda the whole way through so the ending didn't disappoint.
>>217855652Yeah?
>>217855652>Bradley was a grade A douchebag and I was rooting for Linda the whole way throughExactly like the writers wanted you to think. Aren't you smart?I bet you also watch SNL and late night shows and guffaw at all the drumph jokes too
>>217857406NTA, but I felt like I was supposed to condemn her at the end, but I neither felt good for her or mad at her at the end. I found her very likable for the first 2/3rds, and then afterwards, just as bad as anyone else. So I just felt like it is what it is, which I think is a failing of the movie.
>>217857456Linda ultimately proved she had what it took to make it to the top.
>>217855652This movie is the anti-Passenger. Horror that should have been a romance.
>>217857406>kills a gook and a nog>"linda was the villain and the guy in the interracial marriage was actually the hero"maybe for you troon
>>217857590>troons! nogs! interracial!Meds
>>217857522or was it castaway
>>217855652>he didn't give her he promotion because she was autistic and couldn't socially interact with others and wouldn't have been a good face of the company>he laughed at her survivor audition tapeYeah, the second one wasn't very nice, but was he really that villainous? Also, the CGI boar looked like a cartoon.
>>217859852Bullying isn't cool anon.
>>217859852>the CGI boar looked like a cartoon.it did??
This movie is so unrealistic and Rachel Mcadams was miscast because she's way to hot. These types of films only work with ugly women who are probably trannies as well because if any man was stuck on a deserted island with Rachel Mcadams they would be cumming balls deep in her vagina like after 35 minutes and treat her like a queen while on the island.
>>217860175She’s great in the movie, but yeah. She starts looking way too hot for Bradley to still be acting disgusted by her presence. Plus, as far as he knows for most of the movie, she’s a super skilled survivalist.
>>217859852The whole twist is that she's way worse than the douche boss ever was. It's marketed as a girlboss movie but it's actually about a psycho bitch keeping a guy prisoner and murdering him when he rejects her
>>217857406Yes anon, tv shows and movies usually follow a certain plot and overarching character arcs, as to stimulate your feelings for certain characters in the way that the writers intended.
>>217860291Yes, that and I think the other theme is that her immoral deception and willingness to literally kill anyone who gets in her way is celebrated in modern corporate culture. She comes back as the type of alpha businesswoman that Bradley ironically would’ve been attracted to before all that shit went down.
She's pretty hot but the idea that a woman would be a better survivor than a man is more fantastical than a ghost story.
>>217860411The man in this case is a rich nepo baby who never had to learn any of that kind of stuff.
You’re telling me that big wart in her face isn’t a part of the makeup apartments doing?
>>217860437Doesn't matter. Check out one of the trillion survival shows out there (which is exactly how she is "trained") and how the women fare in those.
>>217860477Right, but the guys on those shows are also coming in with survival skills.
>>217860437>>217860502The man being incompetent doesn't make the woman competent.
>>217860532Yeah, but in this case, she did have some basic knowledge like being able to make fire and lash together stuff to make shelter. He didn’t know how to do any of that.
>>217860457I guess it’s part of her look, but it definitely looks bigger than it was when she was younger. I’m she’s gotten it checked out, but at that point, just get it removed even if it’s benign.
>>217860598I’m sure she’s gotten it checked out*
>>217860574He would've figured it out. The woman, however, is incapable of keeping this up for a long time no matter how much knowledge she has. Source: Every single real survivor story out there.
>>217860650>Source: Every single real survivor story out there.Unless you provide a couple of examples, this sounds like typical 4chan woman hating.
I liked it overall but it reeks of girlboss messaging.
>>217860673This sounds like typical Bluesky kvetching.
>>217855652So many women and fags constantly spam this site with low effort posts for attention. Its so fucking cringe. You can tell they are young too. For example, this is 100% an ugly femcel that posted this
>>217860705I disagree because a dumber movie would’ve made the fiancée character an unlikable stuck-up bitch. Instead, she seemed like a genuinely good person who was happy to find Linda alive on the island. That’s what makes it extra nasty when Linda shoves her off a cliff.
>>217860728So no actual examples then. >>217860733
>>217860673it’s not his fault you have no experience with women
>>217860733Even with 4chan becoming mainstream, I seriously doubt that the population of regular female posters comes even close to representing even 1% of the site’s traffic.
>>217860777blah blah blah. Don’t you guys get tired of being 4chan stereotypes?
>>217860673https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aron_Ralstonhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Zamperinihttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugh_Glasshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uruguayan_Air_Force_Flight_571#Survivorshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernest_ShackletonMeanwhile, this is arguably the most famous female survivor ever, and she barely lasted 11 days, where she did almost nothing but follow a creek that provided her with relatively clean water (which she drunk without even making a fire), surviving by luck rather than skill: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juliane_Koepcke
>>217860859Some of these I agree with, but the rugby team guys were kind of retarded. How do you not just follow the natural closest natural slope that leads down out of the mountain their plane ended up on?
>>217861000Read the whole thing if you're interested, it was a lot more complicated than just "let's walk down the mountain".
>>217861088In recent years, the crash site is rarely covered in deep snow like it was back then, so they all would’ve been killed if it happened now. I understand it wasn’t that simple, but still the easiest way off a mountain is to follow it downhill.
>>217860379>She comes back as the type of alpha businesswoman that Bradley ironically would’ve been attracted to before all that shit went down.A better ending would've been her leading the company and everyone around her being too scared of her to ask what really happened to him.
Rachel McAdams is a 5 so I don't see how that's crazy.
>>217860379>her immoral deception and willingness to literally kill anyone who gets in her way is celebrated in modern corporate culture.Yeah corporate culture isn't that. at all>>217860291Its marketed as a girl boss revenge movie because it is.
>>217861683Yes, I’ll definitely trust some anon to be an expert on upper corporate culture lol
>>217862609As opposed to some Hollywood schmuck?
>>217862639Yes, absolutely I would believe them over you.
does the car show up?
>>217862679That's called contrarianism. You didn't just say "I don't believe you", but you said you would believe another party that is factually just as clueless about the topic over that anon. If they told you to eat shit you would do it if someone on 4chan said that eating shit is bad.
>>217862758Why should I believe some nobody on 4chan over someone who is involved in Hollywood corporate culture?
>>217862780The writers for this movie are not involved in upper corporate culture.
>>217862815I don’t think you get to the point of writing Hollywood movies with Sam Raimi without interacting with lots of suits.
>>217855652this was so early 90s of a movie, specially the part they watch her survivor audition tape.
