Americans are just pathologically scared of alcohol. I think it's because their starting point is a 50 IQ so a drink risks making them meaninglessly different from a brick.
>>
>>218326287
Yeah that 21 yo minimum drinking age is a little puritanical by world standards.
>>
>>218326320
It's more their concept of risk drinking. I remember once talking to an american who was teetotal after being 'an alcoholic' in the past. When talking about that he said from his early twenties to late twenties he was drinking about 3 beers every day.

In the UK you'd find basically 50% of the population manage that and never think twice. They certainly don't label themselves as alcoholics.

I quit smoking for 1 year but I got this weird habit of drinking in the evening. Not much, whatever I have, 4-5 beers, or a bottle of wine, half a bottle of whiskey... it just tastes better since I quit smoking and I get such a nice buzz. I literally start thinking of my evening drink at lunch, I am tempted to start with a cheeky drink at lunch now.
What about your quitting bad habits success stories?

Americans do absolute bitch doses of everything and then do a national book tour about their addiction and recovery. Same with alcohol even, they'll sell themselves as big drinkers because they once had two bottles of wine over dinner but cry and call the mormon church for emergency airlift rescue after 2 hours of pre-drinks in europe before being found with shit in their pants lying in a bush at 10pm.
>>
Yanks are the weird ones for associating anyone who enjoys drinking with being bad. For centuries man has enjoyed drinking but yanks are obese little pussies who stuff corn syrup and microplastics down their gullets while smoking 50 blunts a day while going "at least I'm not a drinker"
>>
>>218328827
Excessive drinking/alcoholism is bad, takes like this are also retarded. Go look at the list of drinks consumed at Washington's farewell party. Were they weak faggots? Alcohol consumption has always been a part of white culture and history, it's retarded to label it all a yiddish scheme. Abstain if you can't handle it, it's fine if you can actually self regulate

It’s this that annoys me. If americans just said drinking is bad and they have better things to do I’d agree. We live in a cold, grey island where we’re all dirt poor and don’t have much to do but drink, it’s definitely not the peak of life. But they also try to sell themselves as big partiers for having 6 shots once in a night and then pathologize themselves to a retarded degree if they ever regularly drank. No you never drank hard, no you aren’t an alcoholic. Both those things are okay, good in fact. Go enjoy memorial day in the sun on the $200k speedboat you bought on your $300k + comp tradie job with no college and stop also trying to compete with who can drink gutter oil most from a dreary third world nation.
>>
>>218333430
I was visiting my in laws last week and they were back to backing about 8 glasses of wine each from box wine mid week. Appeared stone sober too.

Obviously that is harmful alcoholism tier but honestly a third of the people walking the street are probably getting up to the same.

Probably only every few months due to children but id definitely do it more often otherwise. Here no-one has any issue with it but I know i’d have shocked americans on the way home with a selected nigger for their wife to fuck complaining about a grown man drinking late at night.

I'm 19 and if I saw myself posting past the age of 21 I would kill myself, so I can't imagine all these guys in their mid 20s and 30s using this website and feeling okay about it.
>>
Being in the UK you meet a lot of old people who are pretty heavy drinkers. My old neighbour in 2008 was a rich old white couple who had a cellar stashed with nice wines. They would drink at least a glass with every dinner but usually would end up drinking more into the evening too. The wife would come over and drink wine with my mum and get bladdered. She's still alive and probably reaching 90 now. Another I knew is an old man who had a friend and both would drink a shitton regularly and be at the pub every day. It was part of the trade finding work at the pub. He's still alive and also reaching 90. This retarded view of alcohol that zoomers and Americans have that it's a deadly poison is so bizarre and propagandized. Drinking has always been a culturally historic hearty part of life for centuries.

Well it’s also a necessary part of white societies. Whites are typically extremely self reflective and boundary observant, so we basically have alcohol as the useful tool for intermittently getting wasted and meeting strangers and fucking. I think the non-white hate of alcohol is because they are always retarded and uninhibited. Jeets dont need a drink to go hit in a hot girl, they’ll just rape her at 9am on the way to work if she walks down a quiet street. Women straight up aren’t safe to drink in their countries as we are increasingly seeing here. It’s also why there’s a similar drinking culture in Japan, as they also have a highly reserved but high trust society.

4chan is for Millennials, always will be, and I'm fine with that. The few Zoomers who somehow ended up here are confused, and the cultural equivalent of a kid who gets raised by his weird 50 year old uncle who shows him old war films, and teaches him all the old slurs.
