>NOOO YOU CANT MAKE A MOVIE ABOUT MY CULTURE FUCKING NORMIES 4CHAN DID IT CREDIT THE SITE REEEEE CREDIT THE BOOK IT ORIGINALLY REFERENCE(Artruro Perez Ramirez, House of Leaves)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wek9dIw2uVM
Why are broccoli hair kids (and gen "alpha") so afraid of empty corridors?>MUH LUMINAL SPACE
It'd be nice if the concept was helmed by director who has strong vision and is completely free from shareholder and lowest common denominator audience demands of "NEED MONSTER"Just a good film that doesn't buckle and submit to the attention-span-tiktok-brained normies
>>219321336>shieeeet. you tellin' me people actually do that "work" thang here?
>>219323018Why are boomers afraid of israel being wiped off the map, why was Gen x afraid of showing compassion to their children, why are millennials afraid to have children, why is Gen z afraid of not being ironic
>>219323018Millennials are all too quick to forget all the cringey Slenderman shit.
>>219321336Honestly looks more interesting than I expected. It's weird to see so much backrooms stuff coming back in vogue given the Miku song too (although obviously movies take a while to make)>>219323240all good questions
we also created snakes on a plane
>>219323018the original premise is that you're trapped in an effectively infinite empty space with a dangerous creature lurking somewhere inside, if that's not scary for you you must be one of those retards who think they could kill a bear with their bare hands
>>219323309As always, the best way to handle such a situation is stripping naked and furiously masturbating to assert dominance over the monster.
>>219323018Far from being gen alpha but I find them pleasantly spooky after the jumpscape obsession of the last batch of horror games / movies.
What’s the deal when it comes to the rights of things like this created by anons? Same for SCP too. Just goes to the first kike that takes it or what?
>>219323520It’s unlikely that the person who wrote the original creepypasta owns a copyright. They could maybe seek an out of court settlement.
>>219323018Hot diggity darn, this poster made them kids real angry, yessir, I reckon.
>>219323800See >>219323245
>>219321336they plagiarized 4chan to make interracial propaganda
ANGRY FLAILING STICK MAN
Gen Z creepypastas are beyond shit.
>>219323520anyone can make and sell content based on scp as long as they attribute the site and don't claim rights over it. some guy in russia tried to copyright scp for himself but got btfo in court.
for me, it's Smiley (2012).
>>219323838Sir, not only did I never find Slenderman scary, I am one of the few people old enough to know that Slenderman was actually a cheap shitty rip off. It was based on "Cabadath (The Tall Man)" from the 2006's freeware AGS game "Trilby's Notes", and that was inspired in turn by "The Chosen" from "Blood 2". Slederman was twice watered down SA slop.
>>219323974even if the text is Creative Commons or similar, the artist who made this sculpture did NOT give them permission to use it.i don't actually give a shit about that, it's the internet where stuff is free (or should be). but it might rustle a few jimmies if they included it in a Netflix show or a movie.
>>219323585how do you prove you were the original poster?
>>219323309>if that's not scary for you you must be one of those retards who think they could kill a bear with their bare handsAre Gen Z kids really like this?>IF THE THING I THINK IS SCARY IS NOT SCARY TO YOU THEN YOU'RE A BIG MEAN POOPYHEAD!Try watching some good horror movies like the classics from the 80s (I bet you little shits would laugh at the "haha stupid physical effects" in The Thing). Or maybe start with some recent relatively new psychological horror movies at least, like Hereditary. Things that can actually remind you of real life horror, like when your elderly near-braindead MIGApede boomer father tries to wake you up at 3 AM because he needs to piss and your elderly mom sleeps in your room when you're not visiting, cause she obviously can't share a bed with her MIGApede retard husband. That's exactly the kind of fear that the>mom spooking her son at nightscenes are supposed to *evoke*.Maybe if this zoomie shit of yours was>trapped in an infinite space with a handful of low IQ niggersthen we're cooking.Your>dangerous creature lurking somewhere insidesounds like something that can be reasoned with in comparison.
>>219324452>Are Gen Z kids really like this?At least we're not racist and we don't say the N-word. You fuck!
>>219323309No, the original premise is that you're trapped in an effectively infinite space searching in vain for an exit, forgotten by the world. The creature element was added in afterwards by idiots.
Infinite Ikea SCP-3008 > House of Leaves
>>219324725>SCP-3008just read this. surprised it's not one of their joke ones.
>>219324657dumb niggerhttps://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/22661164/#q22662718
>>219325070That's so dogshit, lol, guess I subconsciously improved the concept.
>>219323018They're scared of anything that's not actively providing heavy stimulus to their brain.
>>219321336is this where black dads go when they leave for a pack of newports?
>>219323018Imagine growing up being completely addicted to social media and phone screens since infancy. Their brains are completely fucked so the idea of a place without constant stimuli is like an existential terror to them.
>>219321336I don't really know very much about the lore of the backrooms concept, but I admit that I enjoy the concept of liminal spaces (and liminality in general). That's why I'm mildly interested in the concept of the backrooms. I also don't like A24 despite the fact that I haven't seen any A24 film. I know that the concept of the backrooms originated on 4chan and I don't like how the A24 jews are cashing in on a concept made by anons. Also, even though I actually LIKE Chiwetel Ejiofor as an actor, I don't like that they seem to have put a black guy front and centre for this film because it seems more like a political statement than a genuinely artistic choice. So, in other words, I'll watch this film in theaters hoping for slopkino (at best) but I'll pay for a ticket to another film because I refuse to give this backrooms film any financial support.>>219325354>>219325919Exactly. That's what being a tiktok-brained zoomcuck with the attention span of a goldfish does to a motherfucker.
>>219323240manipulation by (((elites))) anon
>>219321336If you think about it 4chan is the back rooms and we are all stuck here
>>219326860WRONG! 4chan is my "friends" place, where I go talk to my "friends" (the only friends I have).
>>219323278I’m not surprised Kane is a decent director
>>2193268604chan is duller and more repetitive
>>219323309>original premise is that you're trappedyou're just going to starve to death. everything on top of that is aesthetic set dressing because they intuitively understand the premise is paper thin and boring. So they got to cloak it in layers of >uhhhhh, there's a monster>these rooms are blue for some reason>maybe a christmass tree? lol, I dunno
>>219325354>agender??? how can you just not have a gender?
>>219323018What a totally original and insightful comment, well worth your time to post
>>219327541you're saying this after it's already led to interesting discussion.
They're pretty late making this. The zoomers who grew up on this moved on a long time ago
>>219326860At least the blue boards have nicer wallpaper
>>219327671just look at how long the Slender Man shit took. that already felt worn out by the time someone made a game.
>>219327436Gender is a made up concept, so really nobody has one, you only have a sex.
>>219323520Possession is worth 9/10ths of the law. What I mean by that is it's easier to claim ownership over an hours long YouTube series made with blender than it is to claim a single 4Chan post.
>>219330255Gender and sex were synonymous terms in the English language until about 2015 when Transgenderism was invented. I wouldn't even really be opposed to Trannies if they didn't want to completely change society and they weren't all deranged freaks.
>>219330823>Gender and sex were synonymous terms in the English languageThey still are.
>>219321336Why are there random chairs strewn about
The backrooms with the water and slides look super comfy, hope that's in there too
I always thought it was “cool” surreal creepy not “horrifying scary” creepy. Isn’t that how most people see it?
