I smell bs on this. The marketers know people love when the actor is also into the bideo game, see brie larson and how they have to make sure you know shes a “nintendo superfan” in every presentation. which in her case is actually true, but whether or not its true is irrelevant
>>
>>219322991

Orson Welles called and pitched himself to Mattel and Sunbow for the voice of Unicron in ‘THE TRANSFORMERS : THE MOVIE ’.

“He explained that we had to understand how deeply he loved the character of Unicron. His dream was one day to be part of a Transfomers movie.”

Only remember playing Star Fox on the SNES because I rented the game from a video store. How was Star Fox on the other consoles like the N64 or the 3d gameboy handheld?
>>
>>219323538
Millennials and gen X know Star Fox because they included Star Fox adventures as the free game with the GameCube upon launch. That and Luigi’s mansion. Older people definitely remember Star Fox from NES. The younger gens might not but that’s why he’s in a children’s movie to sell toys and capitalize on an undermarketed IP. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

Star Fox 64 (with the memory upgrade pack) >>>>>>>>>>> Star Fox SNES. So many 4-player dog fights with my bros.

Starfox 64 is 10/10, Assault on the gamecube was pretty cool

Yeah, and 4chan eats it up because they can use the chad guy as their avatar since he has "nerdy" interests. It's a bit of pathetic I can't engage in.

>skipping the wildly popular N64 iteration that had the most players overall
millenials all played star fox 64, and everyone i ever met who had an N64 had both star fox 64 and super mario 64
star fox adventures on GC was a new IP dinosaur planet game they slapped the star fox brand on towards the end of development
its a decent game but not a good star fox game, you only have like 4-5 flying missions and the rest is a mildly clunky zelda clone with a bad sidekick
>>
>>219325812
He has a pretty obvious boner in the poster to be fair and its a good size.
>>
So, are they really preparing a smash bros movie? Like Star Fox isn't part of the super mario bros universe, right? This is the nintendo multiverse.

Gamecube was my last console so I don't know how are things today
>>
>>219322358
Top Gun Maverick was merely a stepping stone to this moment.
>>
>>219326833
There are plenty of actors who clearly aren't there on merit. But Glenn is clear example of cutting the line just because you have lots of money. Thus easier to hate.
>>
>>219327400
Seems like it, the movie also had cameos from pikmin and mr game and watch
>>
>>219327400
They're definitely going to make a Smash movie. The Mario Movie made so much that they're going to be milking the vidya film genre for the next decade and they hold the reins on most of the most well known vidya characters.
>Gamecube was my last console so I don't know how are things today
TLDR they expanded their basic IPs into casual slop, Mario and Zelda games today bear little resemblance to their predecessors, they're now games that someone aged 6 or aged 60 could pick up and beat if they just sat on the couch long enough, no challenge whatsoever.
Nintendo are still raking in profits however because they still have better business sense than Sony and Xbox is being gutted by Microsoft to move that dept's resources to AI.
Aside from that Nintendo are the biggest corporate bullies in vidya currently, they send their yakuza lawyers after anyone they think they can get away with suing.

One of my cousins had an N64 but I only remember getting to play Mario Kart with her and my siblings.

I'll go check out some Star Fox gameplay from the N64 and Gamecube on YouTube.

I was just a kid but I remember having a blast with Star Fox adventures. I remember all the hype with the graphics, the fur shading, RARE, nintendo magic and all that crap.

I think a StarFox movie could be really huge. A lot of people love furries and talking pets like the one from Guardians of the Galaxy. It could be like a guardians of the galaxy but for kids. They could even use the nostalgia bait for the disney adults

No shit. Powell only gets hate from Asian males and I finally figured out why. Powell was a major character in Top Gun 2 while Manny Jacinto had all his scenes cut out. This caused an unbelievable amount of seethe from those tiny-dicked slants.
>>
>>219328231
If the play it right, then yes.
But just watch them they'll turn Krystal into a girlboss.
Starfox is the one series Nintendo owns that everyone wants more games of but they ignore the IP entirely until a new smash game comes out.

There's pictures of her being a Nintendo fan all throughout her life since she was a little girl.
>>
>>219323379
Unicron was made for the movie and did not exist prior to its development and Orson Welles famously did lots of things he hated solely for the pay check because he refused to nicely with executives and there are numerous stories of him having lunches or meetings that were supposed to be about securing financing for his projects but ended with him insulting the people he was supposed to schmooze for shekels.
>>
>>219323533
In those press interviews where they play Mario Kart, she's the only one that drifted while Charlie, Chris, Jack, Keegan didn't know what they were doing.

>Orson Welles loved Pink’s so much that he ate 18 of the iconic chili dogs in one sitting.
>Chef Patrick Terrail created new dishes with The Great One in mind: truffle-stuffed sausages, warm lobster salad, and the famous Poulet à la Moutarde — a mustardy chicken dish Wolfgang Puck still prepares on request at Spago in Beverly Hills. Welles paid attention to every detail. For instance, when his friend, filmmaker Henry Jaglom, mentioned ordering the chicken salad, Welles exclaimed, "No, you aren't! You don't like it with all those capers."
>By the end of the 1950s, Orson Welles was perilously fat. It hurt him to be reminded of it but what could he do? He had been scoffing whole chickens and plates of foie gras for lunch – and lunch could last all day, then lurch ponderously into the night.
>And loved food almost more than he loved making movies. He once said, “My doctor told me to stop having intimate dinners for four unless there are three other people.”

When I was a kid all I saw was the cover and cringed at the sex animal. My parents would think I was turning into a weirdo if I asked them to buy me that.
