I had a large lego collection, a lot of star wars stuff. I sold a lot of it over the last decade+ as it had been collecting dust since around 2011 and I was tired of storing all of it for years.

I had 45 of these fuckers, they were all sealed. I sold them for I think about 25 bucks a pop back in 2016. Made close to a grand selling them and was very happy.

Now they sell for almost $200 each.

Almost all of my lego collection I sold back around 2020-2021 is worth far more now than it was back then. I had a ton of older sets as I bought a lot of them from the stuff I got from my parents as gifts in the late 90s to almost the entire run from the 2000s to 2011, I never had the cloud city boba fett set though.

I regret selling it all. I made about 30 grand, 25k after paying taxes and fees on ebay selling them back then. Probably could have got close to 40-50 now.

By the time the new one was announced the value dropped to below $1000 for a used one and the new one is never gonna be worth as much since they've sold it for almost 10 years now so there's too many of them.
