Sucks to be you, jam boy.

No one but brownoids think Scarface (1983) is a masterpiece.
>>
>>220992845
Maybe I am an NPC but I've seen a shit ton of films regarded as masterpieces and I either myself was blown away by them or at least liked them enough to understand why someone else might consider it a masterpiece.
I just don't think genuine garbage is something that is capable of standing the test of time in this regard.

The films of Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch and Martin Scorsese.

>Wild Strawberries
this one is only good once you get older. rewatch it when "it" happened to you.
>>

Hard to choose.
Looking at IMDB's Top 250 these are god-awful:

-LOTR trilogy
-Green Mile
-Gladiator
-The Apartment
-Top Gun Maverick
-Three Billboards
>>220993409
>Rosemary’s Baby
Yeah that movie sucks, i laughed so hard at the ending.
>Taxi Driver
I've tried about 6 times to watch that movie over the last 30 years and i've never managed to stay awake, so i still haven't seen the last 30 mins to this day.

Citizen Kane
Starship Troopers (for satire I am going to 4chan or watch adult swim cartoons, when I watch live action movies, I want immersion, no purposeful exaggerations or even breaking of the fourth wall)
Pulp Fiction or anything from Tarantino, really
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Inception
Chungking Express
Forrest Gump
Lynch's Dune (any version including Director's and Fan's cut)
Donnie Darko
Any post 2010 oscar bait

Dude thank you, someone finally fucking said it.
That movie is absolutely fucking rubbish.
>>
>>220992845
What didn't you like about it? Yeaht the plot goes nuts towards the end but the themes and cinematography are high tier... I'm p sure there are much, much worse highly regarded movies out there.

Breathless, by Godard. Fuck that French faggot.

You don't have to like them but you can understand why they're thought of as classics even if you don't like them, plus I already stated the ones I think are just bad midwit

Titanic (1997)

>Starship Troopers (for satire I am going to 4chan or watch adult swim cartoons, when I watch live action movies, I want immersion, no purposeful exaggerations or even breaking of the fourth wall)

I like this movie but as a fan of the novel I would really like to see a faithful remake. Heinlein's novel wasn't satire, it was a serious war story. Also they left out a lot of cool stuff, probably due to the technical limitations of the time.

And to be fair I don't think anyone really considers this film to be a masterpiece.
>>
>>220993125
That's been a huge net negative for the country so not really

Can we talk about this kino?

It could never have been made before and it couldn’t be made now, filmed in the Forbidden City over 16 weeks of 1986 with 19,000 PLA (People’s Liberation Army) extras. The full length version is a masterpiece.
>>
>>220992845
That I can remember: That Orson Welles one. The news reporter thing. Citizen Kane.
It was reviewed well because it was about critics. It is the most unimaginative piece of nigger shit ever to come out of an American. No there's worse. Op is a fag for making me remember it. I won't ruin your life telling you about it. Just if someone tells you Citizen Kane is good add them to the invalid list. The holocaust list. Not Schindler's list. Which is a great movie even if the holocaust didn't happen. And it has been proven it didn't. There are some really bad movies but you probably wouldn't watch them unless told about them. Most faggot kike sites list citizen kane as kosher. So you already know about it. Know too not to watch it. If it seems Sus there is a chance it isn't on a large scale but you can absolutely determine how bad something is by how educated it is.

>>
>>220993191
Clooney Solaris is good, even if the main character George is an unlikable, immorale piece of Citizen.

>>220995173
Donnie Darko is great. But I watched it before 4chan and bad stuff, so everything was better then.

Protip: Never hang out with students. If this is your first second on 4chan: get out now before you are a blob of university.

I’m gonna be honest I got filtered by Last Year in Marienbad
>>
>>220992845
I like Kubrick but A Clockwork Orange is really bad. Anyone I've met in person who claims to like the film can't ever give me a single reason why other then ".... I-Its's just good!" I'm glad Robert Duvall called that movie out for having terrible performances in YouTube interview.

>>220992845
Jaws

I didn't like it because it was too edgy4me
