I think it's overall quite consistent. I didn't hate any episode, even if some are better than others. The ending was a bit underwhelming though, it was just a bit too fast to wrap it up, felt rushed. Jax should not have abstracted off-screen out of nowhere, that was glaring, felt like a scene was cut last minute at that moment. I didn't understand/care for Kinger creating abstract forms in the grey circus, it went over my head why they started doing that. Cane coming back and have some sort of redemption was also too fast. We didn't get to see much of the other characters and the exposition videos was a bit too on the nose. That being said, it's still consistent with the rest of the series, it has room for sequels, but it works as an ending too. I can't think of any other outcome that would work.As for Jax being trans. I think it was handled well in a sort of dog whistle kind of way, because the ISNT SHE LOVELY song makes is super obvious to those who get it, but in a way you can also interpret as some sort unspoken, general fragile side to him showing up. When Ribbit put the ribbon on his head I just felt they were goofing around. Maybe I'm too old to get it.
