>>221363835i literally just finished this series. dongman was a good idea for a character that was poorly executed. they made him too selfish to really root for, but not selfish enough to really hate. trying to ride the middle line ended up making the ending just sappy and emotionally light. the FL was too pure and too perfect. she had no edge or sharp corners at all. just a soft, warm embrace. yes, that's the theme of the character, but the way it was explored here was boring. except for the brother and his nemesis, the side-characters were all either too mean or too nice. none of them felt really grounded. i'd still say the drama was fine, except for the overly-sappy ending, but it could have been better.
