shaun of the dead was fun enough as a horror-comedy novelty, but everything edgar wright makes (that i've seen) is in the same style and i just don't enjoy it. they're actively annoying to sit through. i didn't watch that anya/thomasin movie he did despite liking both actresses and am still surprised scott pilgrim became something of a cult hit as i thought it was awful.
