This was fucking kino. Kyle Chandler is the GOAT and Aaron Pierre is an excellent addition to the roster. He gave me Idris Elba vibes at times.
I don't think it was perfect, but the overall story and the individual character arcs of each Lantern were awesome.
How long is Sinestro gonna sit in the cuck chair?
I give it an 8/10 first season.

>I give it an 8/10 first season.
And I give you a 0/10, ragebaiter.

I'm not ragebaiting. I really enjoyed the series. I was able to binge it over 2 days.
What did you dislike or hate about it?
>>
I hate capeslop consumers like you wouldn't believe

I don't seek out much capeslop, either, but I think this goes far beyond that, especially in its handling of generational trauma and Hal's brokenness. A lot of it is a subversion of the "inevitable good-guy victory."

I thought it started out quite strong.

But the last couple of episodes were so weak they made me question the quality of the first half and that's not what you want...

But then Lindelof always has a problem with endings. The Green Lantern movie was in some ways more satisfying, at least we got to see Oa. However Kyle Chandler was just fantastic as Hal Jordan.

talk to me about the twist-shit ending anon?
did you enjoy it?

Probably the most Jewish show ever created and I don't say that lightly.
>A young black man replaces the "racist" older white man.
>The black man was held back because racism.
>A white woman murders the white hero because she was emotionally unhinged.
>The white hero becomes disillusioned with the Guardians (Jews) and turns his back on them.
If that's not a thinly veiled analogy for what's happening in the real world, I don't know what is.

>Kyle Chandler was just fantastic as Hal Jordan
We certainly agree there.
What did you find lacking in the last couple of episodes?
>>223696555
Do you mean the son being a Manhunter attempting to rebel against its nature? I thought it was a good, albeit small-scale, way of closing out what was overall a fairly intimate first season. It expanded on the theme of "programming" that both Hal and especially John also contended with. It also echoed the regret that the grandmother Manhunter felt for her species' actions.
I do wonder how Sinestro was broken out of prison and what will happen with him. Killing a Guardian can be no small feat.

Be honest: did you watch the entire show or are you basing this off 4chan discourse? IMO, these are surface-level or inaccurate reads.
