>viral horror movie unexpectedly exposes the true nature of "nice guys" to a worldwide mainstream audience kino
look at all that plastic and makeup jesus lady you ugly as fuck
>>223704555It's funny how morally untenable the average person is. The issue wasn't that he was selfish, that was just something to mention. The issue is that he wa scared. That's why she's saying. Even though Bear is a bad person, the root of it isn't in a lack of empathy, the root of it is in Bear not telling Nikki he liked her. The real reason she's framing things like this is probably because "dating" culture is in the decline and a lot of women that have only invested in appearance and make-up are basically losers in a world where men just want to play video games and collect things.
>>223704555That's what women are afraid of, BTW. That's horror to them. Someone wanting to fuck them, but trying to get to know them first. That's what scares them.
>>223704555>but then we see through Bear's repeated horrific decisions he is no the protaognist. In fact, he is the villain. So many idiots keep conflating villain with antagonist and hero for protagonist. Bear is the protagonist of the story and Nikki is the antagonist and there are no heroes in the story.
>>223704555>muh nice guysThe only lesson men should take from the villification of nice guys is to stop being cordial to women ever
>foid talking>she's not naked
>>223704555I can't believe people are still talking about this. In literary terms, the movie has "Dramatic Irony" where we have specific knowledge that the supernatural exists in that world and Nikki is likely possessed. Bear, himself, has no reason to think anything except "I can't believe my luck" at first and then "Nikki is acting fucking creepy." Should he believe a weird phone call with an employee of the maker of the one wish willow? What should he do after that call, just immediately blow his brains out? Same thing when Nikki finally gets through that night and "reveals" that Bear should kill her. He should, without thinking about it, go get a knife and start killing her right away?
>>223704757>just immediately blow his brains out?Yeah I mean ultimately nothing compel americanized people to do anything right. Since all they believe in is money, self dsxrificto correct a problem you made is basically impossible unless someone forces you, hence the movie's ending.
>>223704769>self dsxrifictoMestizo
>>223704631most women are boring cornballs, so that tracks
>>223704769If I used a children's toy on a whim and it turned out it fucked something up with another person, I would think it's a terrible thing, but I obviously didn't intend for anything to happen like that. So I'm not going to just off myself to fix whatever it is. I will seek other solutions. Anyone who'd just kill themselves already has suicidal tendencies.
>>223704757Bear first realizes his wish worked after a phone call from Ian when he's having his first date with Nikki and he tells him she lied about her dad dying and how she told Sarah in the store she just sees her as his little brother, when he confronts her about it is when she yells at him in pic related. The call with the customer support guy who somehow knew Nikki by name only cemented what he already knew deep down but Bear doesn't do anything else until after Sarah gets killed because the customer support guy tells him there's no way to alter or cancel your wish after you've already made it unless you die and he even encourages Bear to just deal with the consequences of his wish and keep supporting Nikki. Bear is the one who comes up with the idea of using another wish to cancel out his own but out of sheer desperation and panic there's no guarantee it would've even worked. I think the main issue people have with his character is that he doesn't do enough research into the Willow which was deliberate on Curry Barker's part (test audiences hated it the most) and he "rapes" her after the restaurant scene after he already knows the truth
>>223704815Absolutely If you make a mistake, the person has to live with it past a certain pointI imagine you're white?
>>223704778>self-desplastamovOh look now the typo means I'm Slavic.
>>223704555sick of seeing ugly women saying shit like this
>>223704555maybe i'm just too old and tired of this culture war shit but she is correct. one of my closest friends was a 'nice guy'. he would basically pick a 'target' for his affection every six months and become her best friend, hold her hair when she puked, comfort her when chad made out with another girl, 'chaperone' her everywhere and then when she finally breaks up with her boyfriend he gets her really drunk and tries to fuck her before she says 'ew' and runs away forever and he admits he just wanted to fuck her. I think we call them 'simps' now.and if you're thinking 'whats wrong with that' then I guess you are THAT guy because watching him do this for years in the exact same pattern was just pathetic. he actually married and has a kid now so you could say he won but obviously his wife has no idea how much of a loser he is but she wasn't exactly a catch either. they just settled for eachother out of desperation.
>>223704555Civilisation falls apart when all the beta males realise they are being scammed by the opposite sex for resources. I think we're getting there soon idk.
>>223704555She doesnt even understand that protagonists be evil, so shes retarded from the first sentence. I will say though women are right about self identified "nice" guys. They absolutely loathe women, they will act like a meek coward around women; call this being a nice guy. Then when theyre with the guys they will go on weird angry rants about women. The chads that get all the girls say/think the same exact shit, theyre just not mad about it and know how to ask them out.
>>223705146Just accept you’re a mestizo and don’t seethe about not being white 24/7.
>>223704712This. I really don't understand what women think the logical result of this narrative they're pushing will be.
>>223705199I think Europeans were infected by some virus from space honestly. It's one of the theories I have thst I view as being more outlandish. There have already been objects form space containing organic material (amino acids)I think that's why whites have so systematically pushed for destroying the natural world, why they want to subjugate all life, and why they're obsessed with going back into spaceYou could say other races are just as primitive when it comes to draining the environment, but that's ALL species, hence why nature self corrects them. Whites are the ONLY SUBSPECIES that have ACTIVELY tried to destroy all of life.
>>223705191>Then when theyre with the guys they will go on weird angry rants about women.>mfw i realize this is just everyone here >mfw i realize everyone on 4chan is a "nice guy"
>>223704555Women have hated nice guys since time immemorial. They only use them as providers.
>>223704555Will the next viral horror movie address the gamers dilemma?
