Can his career recovery from Digger or is it truly over?
>>
boomer-arc cruise is really annoying
I wish this dude would just fade away and leave us with our positive memory of his famous roles, instead of doing cringe horseshit to entertain himself
>>

Zoomer alert. Tom has been cringe kino all his life.

Digger is not only a celebration of his career it's his best role

My kids are probably older than you fuckface.

I watched Digger and walked out halfway. I don't think it's a real movie. I think cruise owed some weird scientologist faggot a favor, or it's some type of money laundering thing.

Nobody can convince me otherwise.

Oh it's over forever. We all know no actor can ever appear in a dud. Especially the biggest star in the world.
That's their last work when it happens.

Tom Cruise is now unemployable.

Critics put out the hit.

Seems weird that critics don't like it and audiences do, considering the director's history.

It’s the best film I’ve seen this year. Made me laugh more than Strangelove and people complain about how direct the dialogue and messaging is and yet are not completely sure they get the message of the movie by the end of it. Can’t wait to rewatch, only saw it for the first time a couple nights ago. It’s creative and while the whole ‘it’s actually a play’ thing has been done before, it adds a whole dimension to the film that all comes together seamlessly at the end. An actual perfect ending, so many films these days have endings that leave me feeling underwhelmed. This one hits you like a bomb

In Digger, Tom Cruise was a huge winner everyone is saying he's a huge bright spot in the movie that did an incredible job, despite hating the movie (still haven't found a critic actually give any good reasons why they don't like the movie, I think Affleck might be on to something that's it's just herd mentality bullying of the director)
>>
>>223762595
>some libslop
I'm a conservative and I care about the environment. If you don't you really shouldn't be calling yourself a conservative instead just a brain washed pinhead
>>

Correct.
>>223760042
I'm 43 and the other anon is correct. Cruise has always been obnoxious and completely self-absorbed. Go be a pretentious faggot somewhere else.

Off the stage, he's definitely a loon just from the 2005 Oprah incident alone that went nationwide viral but all of us would look just as bad in his shoes with a TV on us all the time

As an actor, he's a national treasure / first ballot HOFer
Risky Business
Top Gun
Cocktail
Rain Man
Days of Thunder
A Few Good Men
Jerry Maguire
The Last Samurai
Knight and Day
Mission: Impossible franchise
Etc

How many examples do you want? One thing I do a shit ton of is picking trash up wherever I walk. The other day my sister pointed out: that's not your job, but I countered with: if one person does it, it sets an example for everyone else
>>
>>223762763
He already did. Edge of Tomorrow.
>>
>>223763108
If you care for the environment, why don't you support a political party that cares for the environment rather than ones that are actively destroying it?

He's got Days of Thunder 2 up his sleeve, and Anne Hathaway should have bigger and lactating breasts in that so it will do OK.

In fact if he puts in a scene with Anne Hathaway toasting his inevitable racing success by spraying him with breast milk squeezed in jets out of her milk swollen bajungas, instead of champagne on a finish podium in front of a huge crowd, the film would do very well indeed.

If he drops the ball and doesn't have lactation in Days of Thunder 2, I can see it failing as there will be no "female empowerment" narrative to counter the expected zombie hoards of Karens complaining that he hasn't used the wrinkly prune who was in the first film.

G'day, Tom Cruise here. Glad you like my bonza new movie Digger. Make sure to see it a few times as there are some fair dinkum bits you'll miss the first time round before you know the twists.

Its RIPPER, so don't be a bogon, throw another shrimp on the barbie, and double dip with your tickets.

I vote much, pretty much never for President (last time was Bush-Kerry,. One reason is once you vote for President you can't think as objectively when evaluate the job he's doing because you voted for him and don't want to look dumb
Another reason:
I'm more educated than 99% percent of people on what we are voting on but a lot of the time I can't vote in good conscience because I still don't know enough. They could make it easier by not giving us absolute garbage for the candidates every year by the time they get to my state. Iowa and New Hampshire need to be stripped of their first-vote rights. That's prejudiced to the rest of us and should be unconstitutional. For the GOP, at the beginning of each cycle, including this last one, they put up a dozen presidential candidates at debates. I watch all of them. There are always a few I like. And you do have some being more vocal about how we all care about the environment. You see it now in GOP Congress races
Instead of voting I do my civic duty for elections by working as an election commissioner

Also, I'm conservative, not a brain-washed idiot. I was like that, brainwashed GOP until we invaded Iraq after 9/11 with no stated reason that made any sense. That snapped me out of the brainwash and I started thinking more independently like a true human being and not a pawn.

Also, conservative wants limited govt, best way to do that is always have the Congress and Executive branch controlled by different parties

Clinton in 90s was all red congress and those were great years and everything was booming (of course that's back when I was brainwashed GOP so I just hysterically seethed about Clinton all the time like a brainwashed bot)
>>
>>223763129
All political parties are actively destroying the environment, and you're retarded if you think otherwise.
>>
>>223763320
*I don't vote much
>>
>>223763320
Ever thought about getting into politics yourself? I'm a left wing weirdo, I'm not gonna concede any ground to the right, but you seem like a clever guy, probably the sort of person the GOP needs once Trump's gone.
>>
>>223759384
Okay but how litty is it?

Bonza idea. Gotta whole "that's nota toast, this is a toast..." vibe to it. Feeling the positive energy of this scene right now, gonna talk to Anne's people about it, fare dinkum.

I was high school class president for one of the biggest high schools in my Red State. Rush Chairman and a variety of other leadership roles for the fraternity at Big State U
And my educational background is extremely impressive for politics
But, alas, I don't have millions and that's what you need to get into politics
Plus I don't want the public scrutiny.
