it's not his fault, people just caught on to their greed. Yeah everyone knows "they're a real estate company not a restaurant" but holy shit they are trying to sell a single hash brown for nearly $4 now, when you can buy 10 larger ones at wal-mart for the same price. Not exaggerating, it is that bad now. They got rid of the play-place and characters for kids/families, made it utterly soulless, and now even the value proposition is gone. And ywn taste the old french fries ever again.

>>
>>223778611
This.

The only way I would eat Mcdonalds now is if I were someplace where it was the only thing around. Otherwise I just do Chipotle or if I want a burger here on the west coast we have a fast casual chain called The Habit and it blows slop like Mcdonalds and Wendys out of the water.
>>
>>223778669
No. The lack of quality is definitely catching up to them. Their engagement numbers are down because people are slowly realizing its slop.
>>
>>223778690
Habit is good for two reasons: Portobello 'shroom burger, and the deals on the app. Every single week you get a free kids meal, which means you get a burger, drink, and fries/onion rings as long as you get something over $10. And a double shroom burger is $10.19.
>>
>>223778323
nothing to do with woke. They've just got very little of quality to offer anymore. Most studios launched their own streaming services and took back their stuff. I can't really think of much that Netflix has that would make it worth the price. They got trailer park boys, and I think they got Seinfeld now.
>>
>>223778782

>>
>>223779634
I'm sure there's many factors, but I suspect the real reason for the prices is because they realized how there's fat fuck retards that will pay absurdly more for their slop addiction due to the delivery apps more than anything. I had cancelled after The Electric State. Then re-subbed soley for the final season of Stranger Things then cancelled again and never looked back.

The Electric State is what finally opened my eyes that they were simply pumping out slop without a hint of artistic integrity. The shit they pumped out felt unhealthy and literally designed to make you dumber so you would simply consoom more slop without thinking about it.

Not even joking I cancelled because the stuff they put out legit feels unhealthy like it will make your brain dumber the more of their algorithm optimized 'content' you watch.
>>
>>223778323

>>223780173
They raised prices because they made the mistake to think they are indispensable while at the same time shitting out garbage quality stuff and less of it, and also thinking they had captured the market permanently so they could treat the audience like trash.

This didnt work. mostly because there are other games in town and because people just up and quit paying due to lack of anything good on it

With a 22 P/E ratio, this is a good time to start thinking about buying Netflix stock if you think it will be able to make it as a profitable company for the length of your investment despite constantly increased competition from all the other streaming services (Prime, YouTube, Peacock, Paramount+, Disney+, Apple TV, etc)

Tesla is also down over last year too but that is still a very overvalued stock with a enormous 336.67 P/E ratio
For Tesla, you want that to come down a lot more as it's an EV manufacturer facing heavy competition from China (like Musk said during the last election (he said if we let China sell their cars here, they will wipe him out)
But Tesla also has potential future growth with Full Self-Driving (FSD), robotaxis (Cybercab), and humanoid robotics (Optimus/Tesla Bot). If those achieve mass commercial scale, Tesla could be a good buy

Remember these streaming services are global, so the ones that tap into huge markets like India the best are going to be the most successful

Growth Drivers in India

• Subscriber & Revenue Growth: Netflix India has scaled rapidly, reaching roughly 20 million paying subscribers and pulling in around $905 million in revenue (growing at a 22% CAGR from 2022 to 2025).
• Localized Content: Netflix has produced over 200 Indian original titles to capture market share against local competitors (like Zee Entertainment and Disney+ Hotstar).

Not surprising. Their cash cow Stranger Things had an underwhelming ending and half of their subscribers were hanging on just for that. There’s been nothing to take its place, nothing in the pipeline to get hyped about, the library of non-Netflix movies & shows is abysmal, and at $20/month it’s simply not a good value compared to cheaper competitors with better selection. Politics / controversy certainly doesn’t help but the core issue is that it simply isn’t the product it was 5 years ago and they are deluded enough to believe they can still charge premium prices. Nobody wants Great Value Cola when Coke is cheaper.

>this doesn't actually matter until people unsubscribe, which hasn't happened

It literally has retard. Their whole deal is to keep people subbed while gaining new subs. But people are leaving almost as fast as they gain new subs which is why their numbers are flat.

Motley Fool just did a piece on SpaceX today were they say SpaceX doesn't make their list of stocks to buy as it's too speculative and way overvalued. They point out Netflix made their list back when it was young:
>Consider when we recommended Netflix on December 17, 2004... if you invested $1,000 at the time of our recommendation, you’d have $391,581!* Or when Nvidia on April 15, 2005... if you invested $1,000 at the time of our recommendation, you’d have $1,334,780!

SpaceX's three businesses

space
>the company's Starship, developed as a fully reusable rocket, recently completed its 14th flight.

satellite-based connectivity
>Right now, its biggest revenue driver is the connectivity business, called Starlink. Starlink is delivering significant growth, with subscribers doubling and that unit's revenue climbing 65%.

artificial intelligence (AI)
>the biggest drag on earnings is the AI unit. One of SpaceX's goals includes developing data centers in space,

Note:
>Ron Baron projects SpaceX could reach a $20 trillion to $50 trillion valuation over the next decade, driven heavily by Starlink and orbital AI infrastructure. Elon Musk has argued even Baron's forecast is conservative, claiming SpaceX could exceed $100 trillion in under 10 years

So, SpaceX offers exciting possibilities, has made significant accomplishments, and is delivering growth. But the company also must invest heavily to potentially reach its long-term goals, and it's important to keep in mind that SpaceX may take longer than expected to reach certain goals or may not attain them at all. All of this means that SpaceX could deliver explosive growth to investors if it's successful, but if it disappoints, the stock could seriously stumble.

...

These two scenarios may have driven the stock's ups and downs in recent months, as investors weigh the pros and cons of owning SpaceX shares.

SpaceX isn't the best buy for every investor. It carries a decent amount of risk, and we don't yet have great visibility on earnings patterns since the company recently went public -- and only public companies must file reports. Most investors should wait a few more quarters to gain such visibility before diving in.

Stock recommendations are a meme. The entire Motley Fool grift is to spam everything then pat themselves on the back for the ones that hit while conveniently ignoring everything else that missed. Then double down on the half of their subscribers that hit with their recommendations and rinse and repeat. Its literally the old NFL betting tips phone grift but on a larger scale.

If you want to make money on stocks the one thing you have to understand is that nobody knows anything.

motley fool is a great site for beginners learning how to invest with their stuff on the basics
But sure I don't follow anyone stock recommendations, I don't know anyone good at it

BUT THAT DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT THAT SPACE X IS A HIGHLY SPECULATIVE AND EXTREMELY OVER VALUED STOCK RIGHT?

FOCUS ON THAT

DO YOU AGREE WITH THAT OR NOT?

Amazon is the one always trying to recommend jeetshit to me, might be confirmation bias though
>>
Isn't the problem that they stopped hosting movies? Prime has a better movie selection. Netflix rotates the same shit over and over.

Every stock with potentially high returns is speculative retard. You are still falling for the 20/20 hindsight grift.
