Finished the second volume of Kanojo no kanojo to fujun no hatsukoi 2.It's been a while since the first volume, I remembered a different MC, a character that simply had things happening to her, but in this volume I was surprised to see her fighting for the girl she likes.We know more about the relationship of the original couple and we find out it was much more shallow than expected, with them dating basically just by name and their kiss the MC saw in the first volume was actually their first kiss. At first I thought the author did it to make it easier for the betraying girlfriend to end up with the MC leaving her current lover, but the story doesn't go the way I expected and the original couple also grows in this volume, with the betraying girlfriend turning out to be a shitty person, enjoying the situation she is in and openly admitting it so she continues to go from a girl to the other without any guilty. And the other two girls let her do it...Interesting the ending that leaves no Yaya, I'd say I'm rooting for her, but I don't know if ending up with the MC would be a positive thing...

I'm grateful to Mikami Teren for creating the Girls Love Comedy genre that brought us a lot of LN when we basically had only AdaShima and now every month there are many more than I can read, however it also brought a lot of something that I can only call "slop". Fanfiction-level stories written by people unable to develop a story.It's the case of Sugu kenka suru tokai gyaru to kyou bijin wo nakanaori sasetai dake na no ni! (※Watashi wo toriau no wa yamenasai!). The author couldn't write a single serious falling in love scene, MC talks with a girl and the next day the girl is asking her out. This happened twice, both the girls fighting for the MC just fell for her in one day, after they simply taked about normal things. And later on there are also mob girls falling in love with the MC just because she's good at sports, without even ever talking with her.The story itself isn't any better either, MC has a date with the two girls and in both cases she ends up almost having sex with them without even kissing first. And after that the story just dries out, there's no more "romantic" development between the MC and the two girls, it turned more into the two girls fighting than the triangle with the MC.In the epilogue, in the last two pages, when the MC was feeling lonely because she was going back home for the holidays, she said out of nowhere that she will date both the girls, just to deny it immediately after.It's been a terrible read. Well, it was yuri so it's still ok, even the teacher had a girlfriend, no hint of heterosexuality anywhere, but they're just publishing anyone without any filter, while properly written stories like Wasureenu majo have to disappear.In the afterword the author said he was going to write het and changed it in yuri after he thought about the story, and that explains a lot.It was nice to see Konbu Wakame back to yuri considering the shit she's become now.Now I'm waiting the courier to deliver my order with the new volume of ShuuKura.
ShuuKura 9 ended too soon. It feels like it was just the beginning of the volume and then it ended.Volume 10 is scheduled for this fall, not summer? How can I go on living until then?It started nice showing their daily life day by day and then it became even better with the date at the zoo and Miyagi starting to change again, holding hands, trying to understand Sendai and straight up saying she is interested in her. It was getting better and better and then it ended.The extra chapter about their past is as sad as it can be. People say Miyagi is messed up because of her family but Sendai's family is fucked up much more.Sadly the volume didn't rank in Oricon, it sold less than 2000 copies in 5 days.

Just finished catching up on the Ave Lilium translations, but confused about a few things>When pressed about why she wanted Sendai to delete the photos (the reason she was possessive) and during the sleepover in Miyagis room, Miyagi mentions feelings trying to surface from deep in her heart, and how she needs to keep them buried. Obviously those feelings are love, but is Miyagi actually aware of what they are? She knows she's possessive and acknowledges that reluctantly, but is she actually aware of the underlying reason? She doesn't want to face it, but does she already know subconsciously and is trying not to face it, or does she not know and wants to keep it that way?>Is Miyagi subconsciously already aware that Sendai loves her? She knows Sendai wants to become something more than roommates, but never outright states what that is, and always shuts Sendai down whenever she threatens to open up about her "True feelings". Obviously she's using the term roommates to comfort herself and keep the status quo without her becoming too special, but Is she oblivious to what comes after roommates or is she just refusing to acknowledge it? Although when Sendai says theyre still roommates even after having sex multiple times, Miyagi doesn't really budge on the issue>Was Miyagi exaggerating when she said Sendai never watched movies properly before getting bored?
