Tired and depressed. I ordered a steam deck oled to play some games on and I’m borrowing a friend’s Series X to play ff14 for a few weeks until ncaa comes out. Hoping the deck came handle the gamepass games and wow i wanna play on it, other wise Im gonna return it and get an xbox. I finally played a game I watched a full playthrough of 10+ years ago and I don't even feel anything about it even though I recognize that I should really like it
I hate myself so much
I'm annoyed that I even want to keep playing it to do more stuff after finishing it because now I've fulfilled my "obligation" and even if I want to keep playing it there's another game i Was already in the middle of and haven't been able to force myself to play in over a week even though I desperately want to finish it so I can discuss it on here and I'm fucking missing discussion but can't make myself play it because I just randomly decided to play this other game after 10+ fucking years but I didn't even feel anything because I already saw every second of it on YouTube years ago and robbed myself of the experience but now I'm robbing myself of playing more of the game and also robbing myself of playing this other game I was already in the middle of and robbing myself of discussion of that other game because I don't want to spoil myself on it but I already did anyway from just reading it at a glance and it's killed my motivation to keep playing at all because what's the fucking point if I already know what happens so I've just been sitting here doing nothing for days literally nothing and I don't even feel anything after playing that other game and now my adhd hyperfocus is broken because i was doing two things at once and now I don't know what to do

Just finished Fallout 2 - took me a long time, but finally did it. The funniest thing is that my dog struck the final blow to the boss, even though usually it couldn't damage him at all.
This and Fallout 1 were probably my first RPGs I managed to beat, never was on good terms with the genre. Played 100% vanilla, because that's what I always do on my first playthrough, but it is heavily undercooked - lots of bugs and the most frustrating ones were endings related - you did everything right, but due to the garbage script Vault 13 deathclaws are somehow genocided. I can only imagine how much better it is with restoration mods.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis - second playthrough on Android. Dreamcast version, opposite choices to the first run.

My Friend Pedro - Sewers level 7, lots of platforming there. At this point wanted to play some other vidya, but don't want to drop this, because I always struggle to return.

YMMV, I'm useless at games and I struggled with the final boss of Triple Deluxe. So far it had been a cakewalk with most of the frustation coming from the treasure road bonus for getting the challenge done under a given time, but lately the life bar is getting depleted fast, and I don't like carrying a consumable maxim tomato as if it was an E tank. The game got me angry enough when I got a "Maybe you should considering lowering the difficulty against The Collector. I got killed 3 times by the fucker, and now I don't know if I need to start using defense + side doges. Not even at the colosseum had that happened before.

Shadow of the Erdtree. Just beat Commander Gaius without summons. Holy shit that was a nasty fight. I felt almost as good as I did when I beat Malenia in the main game after he fell, but I'm starting to feel some bosses are a bit overtuned here. He had this one attack he loved doing that was essentially having a seizure with his war hog and it meant either RUN or die because you were not blocking or rolling through that utter mess. I've just watched the cutscenes/ read synopses of the MGS games because I'm interested in the story but don't like stealth/ Pac-Man like gameplay. (I'm bad at Pac-Man) I feel no joy from watching guards walk back and forth and waiting for an opening. I respect it as a good series, just not for me, gameplay-wise.
