And the biggest supporter of VR ended up being Facebook (which means nobody with a normal IQ would ever want to support) and it was only pushed for their shitty Meta world that went nowhere. Even Valve tried the VR meme but they were asking $1,000 fucking doll hairs for ONE game (Half Life Alyx). The Nintendo one was based tho because you already most likely had the hardware and all you needed was the $20 set (20 because all the LABO shit went in clearance right away and you had NO EXCUSE to not pick it up).

Pro-VR, absolutely revolutionizes some genres (FPS/Music/Social MMOs/Golf games) but in the end the big killer is fucking motion sickness. If you stop playing VR for a few months, and you want to jump back in, enjoy again another couple weeks of getting acclimatized to it. Most friends, family I let try VR basically are about to vomit after 10 minutes even in games like Walkabout Golf.

All I really wanted was an immersive view of my games but it's just gimmicks.
