The fundamental reason why /g/ has a wiki and /v/ doesn't is that /g/ consists of a bunch of retarded elitists that SEETHE when someone asks a basic question such as "what browser should I use", because they think everyone has the obligation of researching everything and never asking questions.On the other hand, /v/ is mostly composed of tourists who thrive off the reddit culture of answering basic questions 15 times per day.They are both extremist stances of the same issue, but I think /v/ is way less insufferable because at least you can filter the subjects you are tired of seeing every day.
