I truly can not understand anyone loving GTA4 over the majority of the rest of the series. Its so bland with no customizable vehicles, extremely generic weapons and very few world pick ups. It feels like a game thats ashamed it used to be an arcadey game. The intense desire for realism creates very boring missions that often have you doing the exact same thing over and over. Stores are easily the worst in the entire series by a mile. Protag doesnt engage in his own story until half way through the game. At the end of the day it feels like a full game made out of a tech demo.
