I'll unironically help you. You need to answer these questions:

1. What's your budget? (a range is fine)
2. What system do you want to be able to emulate up to PERFECTLY (the usual cuttoffs are: PS1, N64/DC, GC/PS2, Switch)
3. What form factor do you want? (horizontal or vertical)
4. Do you want to take it with you when you go out or mostly play on the couch?
>>
>>725530125
Ignore this faggot and just get a Miyoo Mini Plus, and put onion os on it

Any reasonable budget is fine given sale prices
2. As much as possible
3. No clue. I assume a psp-like shape is better in the long term
4. I have no friends no gf no social life. I also dont have a couch. So bed play mostly
>>
>>725530305
I'm white. But I stumbled into one of the shill threads and now I can't stop thinking about wanting one.
Maybe a chinese gameboy can fill the void in my heart
>>

ignore THIS faggot and get an SF3000
>>
>>725530458
>PSP shape

Your choices are ayaneo pocket air mini
Mangmi air x
trimui smart pro
retroid pocket g2

I'd recommend the rpg2 since it can play everything up to the switch/PC but if you're a cheapass the pocket air mini is the best bang for your buck under $100 right now
>>
>>725530458
I don't know what you consider a reasonable budget. These things go from $40 to $600 and some of the meme ones are over 1K

If you want a horizontal PSP like handheld that has the best "bang for buck" and can emulate pretty much anything, up to and including some switch games, then the retroid pocket 6 is the best one, but it's $200 plus shipping.
>>
>>725530125
50$ perfect ps2
>>
"on sale" bothers me
of course it is, yuo can buy it
>>
>>725530012
I have the Analogue and it's really good.
I only suggest it if using your cartridges you already own is important to you.
>>
>>725530641
>Your choices are ayaneo pocket air mini
>Mangmi air x
these are also great and half the price of the retroid pocket 6, but they will not play ps2 and gamecube well

Anbernic Rg40xxv here. Been playing FF Tactics in my car before work. Using the stock os that came with the device too. Would recommend.

just because it's common and accepted doesn't mean its right, look at your replies to me
>>

>as small
funkey s
>better
no

i have an rg nano because i think it's a fun little novelty but it's not a comfortable playing experience, btw. you have the GKD PIXEL 2 at slightly bigger and more comfortable to play while still being a bit of a meme
>>
what about steamdeck alternatives? anything better than that?
mostly looking to playing my steam library AND/OR emulating some nostalgia maybe pirating some switch games
budget around 500~ depending on the specs maybe willing to spend 700 tops desu
>>
>>725531006
>the turn of phrase is retarded
Again.
>ESL is upset by a common turn of phrase
There is a difference in something being ON sale, and something being FOR sale, Rasheesh.
>>
>>725530582
>SF3000
Can this play PS3 games?
>>
>>725531107
Just grab anything from asus or lenovo from the used market. Specs wise you arent gonna get any better until the steam deck 2 so just grab the handheld that can play the games you want to play.
>>
>>725530012
>A backbone one costs 100€
>A chink handheld able to emulate up to gamecube costs 500€
>Somehow retards would rather buy an overpriced oddity than use their already bought phones
Why tho?
>>
>>725531107
These chink consoles are all ARM based and have android as their OS. You can get some PC games to work through some workarounds but, for the most part, they are not a very good way to play PC and steam games. There is some hope that this will improve in the future since ARM based processors are becoming increasingly powerful but for now, not really.

So if your main priority is steam games you're stuck looking for something that has an x86 processor, which are the "handheld PCs" that you see from asus and msi etc.
>>
>>725531129
it can play up to Switch
>>
>>725531191
show me the 100 euro phone (plus controller since i'm not playing on a touchscreen) that emulates gamecube perfectly.
>>
>>725531369
>Zero reading comprehension
YOU ALREADY HAVE A DAMN PHONE!!! USE IT FOR PLAYING VIDYA TOO YOU FUCKING NEGROID
For God's fucking sake...
>>
>>725531369
Nothing emulates Gamecube perfectly.
>>
>>725531436
my phone doesn't emulate gamecube perfectly. what phone do you have?
>>
>>725530012
Don't buy the RG35XX or the RG35XXSP. I have them both and they suck. Way too many issues with them.
>>
>>725531521
No PC emulates gamecube perfectly. Your phone won't be able to either.
>>
>>725531283
>>725531146
thanks gents, you guys saved me some serious frustration.
what is the favorite "handheld pc" right now? or are they all pretty much the same with different coats?
>>
>>725531569
shut the fuck up nigger, nobody cares about your autistic definition of "perfect" emulation. gameucbe has been emulated perfectly for over 10 years on any competent hardware
>>
>>725531724
You said "perfect". If you didn't mean "perfect", why did you keep using the word incorrectly?
>gameucbe has been emulated perfectly
Wrong.
>>
>>725531283
Honestly if you already own a gaming PC just install moonlight and stream games onto your android chink handheld. Unless you really want to play Steam games outside your house, streaming remains a superior solution to installing games natively on weak hardware when you arent gonna go outside. Also chinkhelds can literally play thousands of games from decades of console emulation, surely that'll keep you busy outside until you can get home with your gaming PC.
>>
>>725531791
i am super sensitive to input lag so i've always been wary of streaming games over wifi. how well does it work?
>>
>>725531875
You will hate it.
>>
>>725531875
Dont stream games where input lag matters, that means no FPS or character action games but for everyone else it's just fine.
>>
>>725530012
Buy an ad faggot.
>>

kinda defeats the purpose then. if i want to play civ then i want a mouse anyway

i'm looking for a device running android with a beautiful 1080p screen for moonlight gaming
should be at least 7 inches, 120hz is a plus
Doesnt really need a lot of horsepower to run shit itself
Give me your best shill attempts

Streaming is even worse than that

Here's some thoughts on a few budget ones which I think are all fantastic options:

>Anbernic RG40XX-H
My personal favourite, a 4:3 PSP-shaped device with a relatively big screen in a relatively pocketable form factor. Pretty slim, yet still comfortable, a match made in heaven for SNES and PS1, and pretty damn great at everything else retro too. Great controls, supports lightweight Retroarch shaders, and comes with a decent operating system, with lots of options for 3rd party operating systems that are even better.

>Anbernic RG40XX-V
Same as above, but in the shape of a Game Boy instead. Same performance, operating system support, and most of the controls as well, except only one stick and has different shoulder buttons by necessity. My favourite vertical.

>TrimUI Smart Pro
Like a widescreen cousin to the 40XX-H. Sticks are Vita style so no L3/R3. Has about the same performance level as the above two, maybe a touch better, but pretty much same limitations. Supports most of the same operating systems as well.

>TrimUI Brick
Same internals as the Smart Pro, but it's like a smaller GameBoy Pocket. Smaller screen than the above options, natch, but a fantastic option if you want something really slim and highly pocketable, without resorting to one of those novelty-sized systems like the Funkey S.

>>725530180
Get fucked TechDweeb, PeeYoo handhelds suck a dick, and so does Onion.

>>725530717
I mean, neither will the TrimUI, so there's that...

>>725530670
>the retroid pocket 6 is the best one, but it's $200 plus shipping.
Also not out until next year.

Are there any chinkhelds that can run Wii U well, or is CEMU still not good enough on Android yet? If not, then what about Wii and GameCube?
>>
>>725533865
just buy a wii u

I'm not buying a Wii U just to play like 2 games.

any one that can run ps2 emulators
playing ps2 games on an handheld feels amazing
