We used to be able to self-moderate, you know. If shit threads happened we'd destroy and derail them with things like dubs, Spiderman posting or more board specific things like Garybombing. Sometimes overzealous, but it was part of 4chan's immune system. The mods destroyed that, of course. Banned people who did it while doing nothing about the threads it was done to. It's still like that today even while they do nothing about anything else, because they see it as a threat to their authority. And that decision is one of the reasons things are so shit now. The mods do nothing about the flood but punish us for trying to push back against it.
