>>726113145I guess it's more of a mod since it runs on GZDoom using Doom 2 as a base (or freedoom), but Ashes 2063.I think I like this more than Fallout. It's got this Mad Max but directed by John Carpenter atmosphere to it and playing it on survival mode is awesome. Every bullet matters, health is rare, you and enemies take huge damage so fights are often mid to long range and behind cover. Naturally anything without a gun gets a crowbar or bayonet rush to the face.I kind of wish they removed some of the more Doom-ey stuff though. Enemies move like the converted Doom monsters they are and running at Doomguy speeds in this mod that insists on slow and methodical shootouts is counter productive.

Tried the demo for this, likely gonna nab it.Same people that made Olija, which was kind of weird but a fun time. It apes on Shogun Showdown's gimmick a bit in that you plan out your attacks, but it has a lot more flourish and still feels just as difficult to line stuff up.
Played the demo. Apparently it's made by a single guy who only recently kickstarted it, then got in shit with people when he revealed he was going to use Gen AI to help him finish the full game.
