I'm just going around either naked or with a free kit looking for blueprints at this point, I never start a gunfight and fortunately most people are chill and doing the same, those 3/4 times a week where I meet people that shoot on sight I just let myself be killed, it's not like I even bother extracting anyway, once I have what I want in my safe pocket I just quit to speranza. The only times I bring gear is during the matriarch event, but that's just money sink with little reward and I do it just because it's fun, the game does absolutely nothing to push people into fighting the arcs.

Just waiting for this game's numbers to absolutely tank when people decide playing with free loadout sucks and also losing your good gear sucks and that the game's not worth playing.

Been my same experience too. Keeps each raid interesting. Sometimes you team up with a guy, sometimes you just loot and scoot, other times you hunt players, the choice is all yours and the playerbase being filled with a wide range of players from CoD sloppers to 30+ year olds who just want a PvE game helps keep each raid fresh. That all being said, I've kind of fallen off after 100 hours. I don't really care about resetting, so there's not really much to grind for, especially when gray guns are marginally worse (sometimes even better) than pink ones. That & I've noticed PvP has already quickly devolved into corner camping and peek shooting. If you don't have grenades, there's nothing you can do. If you try pushing the other guy can just peek shoot you with any of the single fire weapons and absolutely rape you, because he doesn't have to risk being shot to see what you're doing. Not many people were abusing this 2-3 weeks after launch, but now it's gotten quite bad. I regularly run into people even in solos doing this. It just makes fights really boring. I prefer when they're a mixture of chasing, evading, etc. The parkour system in this game is actually really good for that type of fighting.

They really need to do something about the crashing on certain setups already though. Last real crash fix was from 3 days after launch lmfao.

People want a PvE mode (not the right solution imho) because right now you can avoid the PvE but can't avoid the PvE, and figthing the arcs just puts you at disadvantage, which is dumb, and turns this game in yet another PvP fighter that has some PvE in the background

I go kitted into every raid because it isn't hard to be set-up to take whatever you want. I have literally 50 level 4 guns in my inventory (all have been looted) and the resources to make everything else you need without having to worry too much. I wouldn't be going around trying to get blueprints on a free kit because they have no safe pockets. At worst you just bring a green shield kit with a level 4 white gun (which are VERY cheap).

I had a game yesterday where I was playing duos with a friend and we got into a fight with two other groups of duos. One of the duos got downed and me and my friend were very weak with no heals left. Then I seen two downed fellas crawling away from the other duo, I happened to have a defib on me so I turned on prox chat and told them that they're on our team now and I revived one of them and he picked up his friend. Then the four of us teamed up to kill the other duo. It was a pretty fun game. I'm Irish but the duo I teamed up with sounded German but that's just my best guess.

I think I'm just bored of this game. I played around 50-60 hours and have almost no desire to play more. Solo is kind of unfun but my one buddy who is on all the time spergs out every time something goes wrong making group play unfun too.
It makes me miss Tarkov, but that game is so utterly fucked with cheaters it's pointless to play.

Even then you have to really hit your shots with it considering it's a stitcher 1 with no extended mag. Sure, but it's all well and good. You don't have to be rich to be massively over a free kit. A blue shield and an Anvil 4 will give you a massive advantage against a free kit, even if they get the jump on you. That's a very cheap loadout at end-game as well. I could run that kit for the rest of the reset and not run out of resources to take it, currently. Getting poked by Ferros at long range is definitely annoying. But long range is at least the most unimportant range. In team servers there is no actual threat, just resource drain.

I just don't really see it that way especially if you're want to be a little lenient and not always shoot on sight to give people the chance to interact. If it was a ridiculous difference in advantage that would be one thing, but all a stitcher or kettle 1 needs to deal with a wealthy, "kitted out player" is solid aim and under half a second of advantage. You could get around it by just gunning down free players on principle because you know what they're going to go for but I don't like the effect it has.
The game also (correctly imo) punishes/introduces risk into combat with raider flares. telling everyone that they can capitalize. Mopping up a wounded team with free loadout kit is actually trivial.

Like this is the literal reason that stella montes is all free kits, because it doesn't matter if you have a real kit if 8 more kettle 1s immediately close in after you kill the first one
