I guess I can understand why people want everything. They want to live in an expensive high-rise apartment, or wealthy suburbs. They might want a family or live the high life. Buy expensive stuff all the time. Just live off their wealth. I think most people want that just to feel above others, but to each their own. I would trade all of that just to live in a small quiet town, decent internet, can walk to work. Everything I need within a short distance from me. When I get back at home I would step into a different time. My home looking straight out of the 2000s. The games and media I consume are only from the 2000s. Some say too much nostalgia is a bad thing. I think I would be at peace and comfort forever.

Personally, Mario Sunshine invokes my 2000s nostalgia. I vividly remember playing it on my Gamecube as a kid. I had no memory card for it so I played until I reached Pinna Park then I just explored around. I would be playing this while it's nice and warm outside, but I'm in the bedroom under a blanket with the lights off and the window unit AC on. Peak comfy times.
