I've unironically been happier since I switched to primarily gaming on a PS5. I'm sitting and typing this at my PC right now, my PS5 and tv are just a few feet away, I can just swivel in my chair and face my tv to play my PS5 while still using my computer, it's a nice setup. I've been gaming on PS5 since about 2022, before that I was primarily using a PC since the mid 2000s, and an Xbox 360 before that being in my late 30s. I just like the playstation ecosystem more. I've replayed so many games I already played on PC just to platinum them on playstation as well which has been fun. I had a PS3 back when it came out but because I was a 360 played I only really used the PS3 for blu rays back then so I didn't play many games on it outside of playstation exclusive stuff at the time like mgs4 and uncharted and whatnot. Honestly, I see no reason to upgrade my PC anyways. I'm using an RTX 3080 and I just prefer playing on playstation anyways. Haven't played a game on steam in over a year now. I only play games on my playstation now and there's not anything really exclusive to PC that I must play on it anyways.

PC still runs most games perfectly at 120fps and heavier games at 60fps. It might also be due to my larger library and the fact that if I want to play a game I can just go to steamrip or fitgirl whereas I'd have to buy a game on ps5 just to see if I'd like it.

It's also better to play on quality modes in like 96% of PS5 games because of the fact that performance mode typically drops like crazy with no standard framerate while quality sticks at a solid 30, and there no graphical hit that makes the game look holder than a PS4 at times.
