Windows 7 hit EOS in 2020 but most games didn't truly drop it until late 2021. Which is probably fine since most of them suck, but if you care about AAA you should just go to 11.

Windows peaked with 7 and it's liquid shit ever since 8. There are no buts and ifs, Windows went live service with 8, bringing ads and things no one asked. Also Metro and flat design is soulless. Aero was in the sweet spot where it's futuristic but also stylish.

They make one video how switching to linux changed their lives and made them more spiritually awake and then continue to use windows because their streaming/recording/editing software doesn't run on linux natively and they'd need to wait for months for the FOSS alternative to get fixed because the creator doesn't want to approve a one line PR because he's mad someone came up with a solution before him or he gets too busy trooning out and abandons the project entirely.
