I've done this. but you can't exactly change to being your player model smoothly and all the fucking armors look so bad. I guess I'm going to have to add my own set of custom armors also and see how you can make sure this becomes your standard model as soon as you enter a new world. You also can't customize without going in the asset editor that is also ass and sucks a lot. I want better support for custom player models, right now is a bit janky.

My biggest problem with it is that the weapons are just really boring. Weapons of the same type play exactly the same. The rarer weapons will need their own abilities, passives, etc to actually differentiate them.

Hytale threads on 4chan remind me of stories I heard about Japanese propaganda about American soldiers during WW2 about how evil, and monstrous the soldiers were, and how the propaganda was so rampant and harsh, it caused even the general populace to kill themselves when they saw American soldiers, but in reality the American Soldiers treated Japanese prisoners/refugees with extreme care and respect, there was a story about a Japanese woman who was so scared of the American soldiers that she thought they were going to torture her baby to death brutally and make her watch and then brutally rape and torture her, but they saved her life before she could jump of the edge, and when she saw all the people at camp being treated well she started to go insane because she realized the American's weren't monsters, so she just started screaming in absolute mindbroken horror that she killed her baby for no reason. Very similar to the lies being told about Hytale, very interesting stuff, I don't even think such false narratives were drummed up about Bethesda games or Dark Souls 2, despite the irrational hatred toward them aswell.
