They literally killed it with Legion. Ubisoft is no stranger to making "anitfa simulators", but that was probably the most eggregious, of them all. The rebel side that you are a part of in the game has people explicitely calling people fascists, and the villain in the game (or one of them, I don't remember the game because I saw it from the outset) stages bombings and blames it on brown people to enact authoritarian rule. It's literally the most retarded and inverted plot ever. Who could see that and not laugh at it. I was initially interested in the game before it was released. If the people at ubisoft aren't doing this because of some kind of corperate mandade (which I kind of doubt) then I think they severely miscalculated what appeals to players, and antifa sims really don't.Watch Dogs 2 I actually really liked, and it managed to make all of the hipster shit somehow not insufferable. I liked the little window into a certain culture that the game was. It was decent. They could do a lot with watch dogs, and also make a real competitor to gta online, if they tried. The thing about Franchises like Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs is that they’re Franchises that have an insane amount of potential, but they fall short simply because it’s modern Ubisoft in charge of them. I hope at the very least that Assassin’s Creed is given to a competent studio so we can have a good AC again.

Great atmosphere and tone for the story, finally some good revenge kino.2 dropped the ball on many areas (le woke hackers group, disjointed locations) but the minute gameplay was peak. I spent more time in that game just fooling around and watching cops/gang members kill each other etc (with cheats)
Watch dogs 1 with the updated mods is ok, it still lacks but it's much better. The novel stars and stripes was fucking appalling, it was just an opportunity to shit on white people and even made references to Aiden hacking 4 chan and uploading viruses to every user because they were "racist"
