Gatekeeping implies engagement in the gaming community to begin with. A community that primarily begins and ends with social media these days. If a game and its developers cater to the degenerates on social media I write them off and move on. Gatekeeping has never solved a problem that a games developer did not actively seek out and accept on its own. If developers choose to coddle sycophants, they deserve the fate that befalls all those who chose that path. I trust the process, as it has never failed me.

Yakuza blowing up has to be the biggest double edged sword of all time. On one hand, if 0 didn't do as well as it did we probably wouldn't have gotten any more of the games over here.
