Making him king is the most logical choice but alot of people probably don’t do it because they forget to do his fake sister quest or they do it but try not to crush his demeanor. But having his as king is the biggest improvement for him and Ferelden at large. Not to mention all the support a Warden/King can give to the cause. Alternatively making him king but having him do the final sacrifice also martyrs him heavily and makes him an almost living legend.
