The good news is that because I was fired I qualify for unemployment gibs. The bad news is that the TWC wrote me off as getting fired for "misconduct", which was egregiously false, so I've had to spend the last 9 months appealing their lazy, retarded decision.

>they joked about this often
>she would openly insult the director
>she would openly refuse to do things someone who outranked her would request
>was warned by former coworkers that going to HR was pointless when it came to her
>a higher up attempted it anyway; the director sided with my supervisor and said that her attitude comes from her "passion" for the job
>found out that after i got fired my other coworkers all left because the workload was completely fucked without me there
Normally I'd agree with you, anon. But I was legitimately working at a fucking circus. Idk how the hell they have managed to avoid getting audited.

The good news is that my appeal forced me to throw them completely under the bus and reveal the backwards and extremely unsafe methods SHE INSTRUCTED US to use as a way avoid our metrics from getting flagged (which ironically also means that they cannot prove that i did the thing they fired me for without video evidence, which i know for a fact they dont have).

I was working for genuine psychos. Turns out they *do* exist.

>>Drunk at work
So I was correct the entire time. It was entirely your fault. No person, worth having on a job, is going to show up drunk. I bet you have a history of incidents like that. And what got you fired was not a "woman moment" but the cumulative effects of your own fuckups.
>>

>>
>>732549392
You are not missing much anon, is a buckbreaking job and it doesn't pay THAT well
>>
>>732549454
Then they should have just fired me then, you fucking idiot-- it was something that had literally never happened before in my life. I was entirely prepared to get fired for that incident but they didn't do it. Instead, a few months later they suddenly start giving me a hard time about shit there was no way I could have been responsible for and then one day after I show up for work they take me in the conference room, give me the most idiotic reasons imaginable for firing me, and then ask me to sign the papers. The whole thing was designed to catch me off-guard. If I'd gotten more time to think about it I would've told them they can shove those papers right up their asses because they *LITERALLY* can't prove I did what they wrote me up for.

The thing about it that really pisses me off is that I *liked* my director and the other higher up for fired me. I genuinely respected them and they treated me well. It's still hard for me to hate them for pulling that shit. The reality is that extremely petty people DO exist and they DO work in positions of power and they DON'T like people who question their judgement. Simple as.

You showed up drunk at work. I can not trust you at all to be unbiased. I am 99% sure that there was a long history of you fucking things up, and probably never taking responsibility, and the higher ups had been talking about you, and being sick of you a long time ago, and what got you fired, was just the last drop.

>long history of you fucking things up
I was following the exact protocol I was trained to follow-- one that A) made a simple job significantly more confusing, B) was rife with mistakes that everyone made, and C) made it actually impossible to account for who did what.

There was an incident I was written up for a month or two prior to all of this in which I was blamed for making a mistake that I wasn't even certain I made, but I took responsibility for it because it was *PLAUSIBLE*. I even came up with a new method for doing my job that would have broken it down so as to prevent the likelihood of me making any mistakes, and my supervisor actively sabotaged my efforts to do it. Then out of nowhere people all started blaming me for shit that I didn't even fucking do. I genuinely thought I was losing my mind right up until they fired me.

I wasn't fucking anything up, anon. I hadn't made any mistakes that I didn't own up to or try to fix. My supervisor just wanted to get rid of me and she had the upper management by the balls for reasons that I can only speculate about. My being drunk at work was treated with empathy and grace. Like I've said to you already, if I was a problem worker, that would've been the perfect opportunity for them to can me. But they didn't Not for several months, and not even for anything worth canning someone for.
